Kai Orine could take Bouzakis out in the first round. He finished 7th last year. He started the year at 141 and dropped back to 133 in December.
I see Willie already crying on X over Husker seeds, specifically Pinto and Smith. Who coulda saw this whining coming? 😂
They met twice in 2023 at 165. Hamiti beat him 4-3 in the dual and beat him 9-6 at Big 10's that year.
Not feeling a mid-AA @133. BD went 4-2 at B1Gs for a 4th place finish. At Nationals, only 4 of the top 8 seeds are from the B1G. The math suggests that it is 50/50 whether Braeden makes it past the Blood Round imho. He won B1Gs last year and pretty much flopped at Nationals, so going 4-2 at B1Gs this year.....

Interesting match. Bailey isn't going to bore in so no throw by. Without the cheap TD Ayala can't wrestle from a knee and will have to chase a retreating Bailey. If I was game planning this one I would tell Ayala to center and circle, chose down for the escape and in the third look for Bailey to come out of his retreat and step forward in small increments. His throw-by should be there in the 3rd.
Be willing to take the 1-0 win.
Pinto is a scary 8th. He tries to hit home runs. Keegan will not want to roll with him. Pinto doesn't have the makeup to be safe and methodical. But he's scary in any given moment. I think he matches up better with Keegan than Levi.

Since Iowa has managed 1 second place finish when PSU is winning the team title i am going with Iowa consistency and figuring they finish 3rd or lower.
Nebraska or Okie State. Heck, if Cornell has a great tournament they could slide into second like last year.

My history is there for all to see. You'll have to point me to one post I've made putting DT down for any decisions that he's made. And why the f*** would I care where DT decides to coach? Especially considering I believe Cael has a way to go before he hangs it up. DT spent more time at his own club training and didn't even really do much with the next guys in line like Aaron Brooks. Hell, I told Iowa fans for two years they should snag up DT before someone else does. Yeah....and I'm so bitter he left. Lol. This made me chuckle, remembering past happenings. Back in the 80s a PSU friend got a huge assed promotion. It was announced before Christmas and I grabbed a case of white claw (kidding, a bottle of something) and stopped at his house to offer congratulations. He and I had a drink or two, and his wife was drinking wine, decorating the Christmas tree and singing "we're in the money". The more wine, the louder the singing.
So i keep imagining DT checking that bank statement and Kendra singing that song.
You're both right, he doesn't think about any of us. I guess thats why I'm so bitter he left to go to OkST. The taste in my mouth is so bad that the very first time I talk anything DT related (since he left) it's about a HAWKEYE wrestler matching up well with one of his guys.
DT doesn’t worry me, we will Own him for several more years, then the heck maybe we get some drama and competition which is fine by me
