I am still confused about 133 (who wrestles). George has been wrestling in the dual meets and that makes sense because he is tough to pin. But if he only saved us a point or two (giving up 4 or 5 instead of 5 or 6), why didn't Law wrestle? Law needing as much experience as possible (if he is going to wrestle). This is assuming that the posts are correct and Law is winning in the room.
It's not like we risked losing a dual by who wrestled at 133 (in hindsight).
My guess is George but we will see...I would like to see Law...Just has a better shot...IMOWell, we'll know who Cael is sending out, when the brackets come out.
I will cheer like crazy for either.....Just know how is better.....I will yell just as loud for any PSU guy though....Cael was afraid that we might only beat Rutgers by 28 points, if Law wrestled and got pinned. Then, there was Northwestern, and Cael was thinking, "Man, if I could just beat them by 45, instead of 42, that'd be great."
He was also afraid that if Zain, Jason and Bo saw Law get pinned, instead of Carpenter avoid the pin, that it might destroy their confidence, and didn't want to risk it.
Just went back to the list on NCAA.com and it does now show 7 allocations at 165. Nice intel Roar.Just heard from the most reliable of sources, that the B1G has another slot at 165.
The power of the internet (thanks Mr. Gore) generally, and this forum specifically .Yes, and Joseph now is #2 in RPI at 165:
