the wrestlers are sore, and the fans are hoarse. but it's time to get your match face on, and enjoy Session 3.

posts comments, upsets, mat assignments, etc. as responses.

Nico will get things started on Mat 5

Conaway will be next to go, also on Mat 5

Quarters are on mats 3, 4, 5, and 6. Consolations are on mats 1, 2, 7, and 8.

Nico riding tough. Tried to tilt Youtsey, couldn't get it. Has over 2 min riding time in the third. still 3-0.

Looks the Nico will get the kid from American if he wins. Pinned his guy.

Edit - I thought he got a pin. Maybe 5-2.

125 Quarters:
Nico vs. Conor Youtsey (Michigan)

Per 1
Nico in on the right leg, a scramble as Youtsey has the ankle. Pretty wild, but stopped at 2:07. Youtsey with underhooks. Stalemate at 1:51. Nico reaches for an ankle, nothing. Nico gets an ankle and Youtsey grabs an ankle, and PD stoppage at 1:10. Youtsey in on the left leg, Nico with a whizzer and doing splits, and OOB at 38 sec. Nico reaches, nothing. Stalemate at 9 sec. End

Per 2
Nico takes down. He's out in 2 sec, 1-0. Nico in on the left leg and gets the TD at 1:24, 3-0. Throws a cross face in and now riding out to the left. Youtsey has Nico's ankle -- lucky for Nico he is so flexible. RT is growing. OOT at 37 sec. RT at 45 sec. Nico grabs the ankle, and then goes into a ride on the left. RT over 1 min. He rides him out. 1:22 in RT for Nico.

Per 3
Youtsey takes down. Nico again to the left, and Youtsey again grabs an ankle -- which he loses. Nico working a 2-on-1 but can't get a tilt. Now working an arm bar on the left. Stall warning on Youtsey. RT is locked. OOB at 52 sec. Youtsey tries to turn in and they do a Gumby scramble. Stalemate at 35 sec. Youtsey up and taken back down. Up again, and OOB at 20 sec. RT over 3 min. OOB at 9 sec. Rideout. With RT, it's a 4-0 win, and Nico is in to the semis. He'll take on Tareo (American) in the semis

Jordan was in deep right away, couldn't finish. Still 0-0.

Brewer in keep, good defense by JC, scrambled, nothing.

JC get TD, quick reversal by Brewer. Stoppage from Cody Sanderson asking about something. Not sure what. JC seems to be a lot better on his feet than Brewer. Brewer is a good scrambler, though.

Cody wants NF points for JC.

JC get escape. RT at 1.04 for Brewer. 3-2 end of 1.

Brewer takes down to start 2nd.

Brewer with the TD, really thought JC had the TD, though. I should say, I thought JC had the TD and NF points. Going to end up being Brewer with TD and NF. Brewer is a great scrambler. JC able to get to his legs fairly easy, tough to finish on him, though.

Brewer just doesn't shoot, scores on another counter. He essentially doesn't care if JC gets the low single, because he can easily out scramble JC for a TD.

133 Quarter
Conaway vs. Cody Brewer (Oklahoma)

Probably the toughest matchup for a PSUer in the semis

Per 1
JC in on the leg, then Brewer with a nice scramble, nothing, and then OOB at 2:34. JC in on the leg again, Brewer with a whizzer, nothing. Brewer in on a leg, Conaway grabs an ankle, crazy scramble, and a stalemate at 1:52. JC in on the right leg for the TD, 2-0. Brewer rolls thru for a reversal, 2-2. Challenge by PSU. Not sure why. Perhaps CS thought there should be back points. Pretty early to use 1 of the 2 challenges. Ironhead confirms it is for NF. Call upheld, so they lose the challenge. Stoppage at 1:19, as the RT clock had not restarted. JC to 3-point, then down, then back up, then down. JC works up again. Brewer with a tight waist, and nearly a tilt. RT at 1:04 and JC with an esc, 3-2. End

Per 2
JC defers and Brewer takes down. Brewer up and out but RT down to 57 sec. JC in on a leg, Brewer sprawls, then Brewer in on a leg, nothing. JC in on a low single, they scramble, Brewer has JC's left angle, the ref is letting them resolve it, and Brewer eventually gets a TD with a stepover, 3-5. End. RT at 1:19 for Brewer. Oklahoma challenges -- must be a NF issue. JC was turned when the TD was awarded. Really a nice scramble by both guys. No change.

Per 3
JC takes neutral. JC gets an ankle, and Brewer grabs an ankle and after a scramble Brewer gets the TD, 3-7. JC is doing everything right, but Brewer really has the funk. Stoppage at 1:10 -- not sure why. RT about to go over 2 min. Stall warning on Brewer, as he's not doing much on top, at 45 sec. RT is locked. JC to his base, and he gets an esc at 23 sec, 4-7. JC tries by Brewer pretty much dances away. With RT, it's an 8-4 loss for JC.

JC goes down 4-8 to Brewer. Brewer was just too good at scrambling for JC who was able to get to this legs. The one TD JC did get was a single switched to a double. That's the only way he could take Brewer down. Brewer too good on the funk roll for the low single shot.

Good match by Jordan. Brewer was just too elusive in those scrambles.

Brewer just doesn't shoot, scores on another counter. He essentially doesn't care if JC gets the low single, because he can easily out scramble JC for a TD.
Brewer looked like he should wrestle for Illinois. Just diving for ankles . Yay.
I thought Jordan wrestled a good match for the most part. He'll just have to kick some ass through the wrestle backs .

JDJ lost!! Conaway will get the winner of Beckman/Martinez. Beckman seems to have showed up.

go to tuneIn Radio and get 1390 WRSC
Okay, I'm in Tunein Radio.

Now what?

1390 is not in the selection list under local. Is there a way to submit it as a search?
Never mind. I think I got it. Thank you VERY much for the suggestion.

If JC had two more shots at Brewer in the future JC would win the third, if not the second and third. Jordan is great at figuring guys out who have beat him in the past and adjusting to them. Just look at his matches with Ryan Taylor. I expect JC to wrestle back well and finish strong.

Not sure why you guys are having issues with the audio stream. I've had no problems since 10:45, using the link in the pinned post.

Used the link posted link this am, when it was having problems. Get a Hannity show or other stuff.

But, using the posted info to get to the 1390, I have Beyers feed now.

Ward needs to stay off his back against Heil. We don't need OSU getting bonus.
