Yeah I believed Ohio State was the biggest threat to PSU coming into this round, Jordan's loss is a big blow potentially. He has a lot of work to do in the consis if they're to claim the team title. I don't think it would have happened either way, but that loss makes it more unlikely
that Meredith win is HUGE
What a finish! I was swearing on the TD by micah then celebrating with the last second cradle by meredith

Zain vs. Justin Oliver (Central Michigan)
Per 1
Zain shoots a double, Oliver sprawls, nothing. Retherford snaps down on the head, grabs a leg, and he gets the TD, 2-0, with 1:35 left. Zain gets a tilt and is getting swipes, and he gets the pin at 2:12!!!!!!!!

Gulibon vs. Ian Nickell (CSU - Bakersfield)
Per 1
Nicell in on a double, Jimmy with a scramble, and Nickell gets the TD at 1:50 left, 0-2. Nickell throws in the boots. OOB at 1:19 left. Jimmy up back down then a sitout turn and reversal, 2-2. Jimmy traps Nickell's left leg, and eliminates all of Nickell's RT. OOB at 17 sec. End. 26 sec of RT for Jimmy
Per 2
Nikell defers and Jimmy takes down. Jimmy up but taken back down and Nickell throws in the boot. Neither guy doing much of anything. Stalemate at 1:08. RT now in Nickell's advantage. Nikell throws in the boots again, and has the cross body ride going. (Jimmy, you had to know the boots were coming. Ugh) RT now over 1 min for Nickell. Stall warning on Jimmy (tough call). Rideout. 1:33 in RT for Nickell.

Jimmy takes neutral. Quick TD and it's 4-2. Stalemate at 1:08. RT now below a minute. Nickell to his feet, but Nickell jumped the gun, so a caution on him. Jimmy working a 2-on-1 and trying to turn. Nothing. 30 sec left. Rideout, and a 4-2 win for Jimmy. Nice!

Looks like JG will get the 4-2 win and advance! Great way to grind out a win!
I believe Jimmy will have another match in this session., and Conaway will have his 1st consolation 2nite.
Mayes waited way too long to try and score at the end. He seemed like when he committed he could take him down.
No way that's a TD for JoJo if he's challenging. JoJo lucky to get out of that at all. This is an attempt to get JoJo a breather.
Nolf with a major! Was really working JoJo in the third. When he smells blood he is unstoppable.

Lots of stalking, and Smith working a Russian Tie. Nothing thru 1:40. Stall warning on Smith. Nolf gets the right leg, and trips Smith to the mat for the TD at 1:06, 2-0. Nolf gets high and Smith trying to back out or get the reversal. He gets the esc at 36 sec, 2-1. End 29 sec of RT for Nolf

Smith takes down. Nolf to the left side. Smith to his feet and is out at 1:41. RT at 49 sec for Nolf. 2-2. Nolf reaches, nothing. Nolf in on the left leg, has Smith dancing, trips him but Smith fights it off. Stoppage at 27 sec. Looks like Okla. St. coaches think Smith had a TD (I didn't see that). Okla. St. assistant coach was acting like a fool in front of the table. Nothing awarded. Stall call on Smith and a low double by Nolf at the buzzer, 5-2. 50 sec of RT for Nolf

Nolf cuts him with 50 sec, 8-3. Smith in but Nolf with the whizzer,nothing. Then Nolf in on a single, fights the whizzer, and gets the TD, 10-3. He's close to a tilt but runs out of time. With RT, it's a 11-3 major!
