Nebraska dual thread - Jan. 17

Awesome Exchange from Luke Lilledahl

Wrestling action is so fast I typically have to watch a sequence like this in slow motion to truly appreciate what is occurring. On a separate note, Flo had mentioned that it was Cael who won the coin flip and chose to start at 174. Cael has always chosen to start at 125 so I'm wondering if anyone has a guess to why he chose to start at 174?

To deflate the crowd and environment...and it clearly did. The match for them started at 125 but they still had to look forward to and dread Mesenbrink in the finale. Brilliant move.

His toss-up matches were all from 125-57 and this would give his guys more time to recover (and Cael surely believes his fully recovered guys beat anyone else's fully recovered guys, while also making the matches for Levi and Carter (smaller cuts) easier as their opponents are both coming down a weight class with a large cut. And to start the match with a nice statement that this won't be close

I like the highlights Nebby wins 2 matches and they show them both! wrestler on the match lovett, should have been Luke!

Exactly. At the end of the first four matches, PSU was up 17-0, and the dual was effectively over, taking the crowd out of it. Ending with Mesenbrink put an exclamation mark on it .
