That's flat-out inaccurate. I can look up what people post, and that's not the last thing that JohnDoe posted. What a surprise that Togs would make an inaccurate claim.

IMHO, that's an absurd statement. Togs and Jammies are fans of Oklahoma St. and Minnesota, respectively. Whether they bring valuable info to the board, or mostly provide comic relief to the board, is for you and others to decide. JohnDoe is a PSU fan, and has brought a lot of good info about PSU wrestling to the board. Whether you like his style or not is, IMHO, not all that relevant, but I don't see how anyone could lump Togs, Jammenz, and JohnDoe together, or could consider JohnDoe a stooge.
Well that wasn't very nice ! Don't know how I got lumped with that rep. I guess it's the people like NEPA that made me stop posting, Too bad... a lot of interesting things going on in the room right now. Oh well !
It's unfortunate that you seem to let a few posters get under your skin. I suspect that 99% of the PSU fans on this board appreciate everything you bring to the board, and appreciate whatever info you post about PSU wrestlers, and the PSU wrestling program.
I hear you JD, I reluctantly shared the info that started this post and instantly got berated by amalone as if I had no idea what I was talking about and was a second rate citizen. That being said, I do believe most posters on this board are good individuals, unfortunately the few ruin it for everyone. Thanks for the info you have posted in the past, I do appreciate it!!!
Those responses to you from amalone were unfortunate, for sure. My guess is that in his opinion, you had not established yourself as a reputable poster (you haven't posted much in this forum) and then out of nowhere you post that the presumed starting heavyweight is injured, when there was no independent confirmation of that info at the time. I take a wait and see approach with most new or very infrequent posters, as their info may or may not be accurate, but it rarely takes too long to determine which. Your info was confirmed over the next few days, so you ended up looking like a valuable contributor. Hopefully, you won't hesitate to share info with us in the future.

Hopefully so. I felt it necessary to address several things that were posted in this thread in the past 24 hours that were taking the discussion off track. It's possible that this post will keep the focus on issues other than a heavyweight for a bit, but IMO the issues needed to to addressed.
