I dont know why everyone is posting about what the line up is gonna be next year when we have such an exciting year ahead of us this year but just had to give my opinion.

Jimmy at 141
Zain isn't going any higher
Nolf is small at 157 and is gonna bulk up and take his 2nd championship here ( sorry IMAR )
165 Rasheed has got the inside track. Coaches like him
174 Bo isn't going anywhere. He has to be crazy to leave a weight class where he is the man to try and jump up where there is possibly 8 AAs coming back. Bo will be a 3 timer at this weight
184 Cutch will contend for the title this year. And at the least... Get one next year
197cassar is the best choice here. If some guys can gain some wait and wrestle hard... We could see some good a fight here.
Heavyweight - Neville. Champ. That's it !

JD - I don't think anyone on this forum disagrees with you that this years team is exciting, because it is. The speculation on next year has been kind of focused on where Joseph fits in the lineup. According to your post he doesn't which I find surprising. Joseph just wrestled at 165 so that may be where he tries to start next year if he gets by Rasheed. Will make for lots of interesting discussions.

What about Joseph at 165, Rasheed and Nickal bumping up to 174 and 184 respectively, and McCutcheon and Cassar battling it out for 197. Cutch could also battle it out for 184

Earlier discussions had Cenzo taking the 157 slot and everyone moving up a weight with McCutcheon and Cassar battling it out at 197. But given Cenzo not making weight at 157 at two tournaments, coupled with him just wrestling 165 at a tournament leads one to agree that Cenzo would probably compete for 165 w/Rasheed and maybe no other moves in the lineup.

The coach keeps describing Rasheed as a big 165 pounder. We know he missed weight at a tournament last year and struggled with the cut the first weekend this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him competing for the spot at 174 or 184 next year.

I can't see Cutch at 197. He looks pretty filled out right now at 184. Cassar looks to have the inside track for 197 next season, though obviously a lot can change between now and then.

Seems that Joseph could definitely be in the mix at 165 next season.

Barring a growth spurt, agree that Nickel is probably better suited staying at 174.

I'd expect Stout to be in the mix at 197, but I think Cassar is likely the favorite at this point. Could 197 (Cassar, Phipps, Stout) be next years 165?

It's all speculation but I think Nolf, Nickal, and Cutch all stay where they are given their current size and 197 AND 165 are the dog fights between everybody else.

Cutch especially doesn't look like he's fighting to stay down at 184. Nolf looks less ripped than pretty much everyone he faces. Nickal's frame (and style) is similar to Quentin Wright's, who went from 174 to 197 over his career; it seems plausible he could move up.

So we are trying to figure out where a RS freshman ( Joseph), four sophomores ( Nolf, Nickal, Rasheed, Cassar ) and a junior ( Cutch are going to fill in 5 slots.....plus Stoudt, Morellli and others not included in the discussion along with potentially Hall and Manville.

I agree. You never know when kid will have a growth spurt, but right now none of these three look like they are imminent to moving up a weight. Nickal may have similarities to QW's style but is not nearly as tall is he?
I expect all three stay where they are for at least next year.
