NFL Draft, Day 2 (R2 & R3) Thread

I hate the SEC but damn they had a lot of players drafted in the second round.
I’m happy for Sanders, don’t get me wrong but the Eagles have used their picks for offense, as if they are trying to prop up their oft-injured QB. S, LB, CB were all greater needs, at least with these 2 second round picks.

CLASSIC.....the 70th pick, a running back from Memphis, was out bowling with his family when he got the call that the Rams were picking him. He had just thrown a split (looked like 8-10) when his phone rang!
I didn't watch a lot of Stanford games last year, so I don't have a good sense of Arega-Whiteside. However, I watched pretty much every Birds game, and I'd rate Safety, LBer, OL, and DL ahead of WR, in terms of positional needs of the Eagles.
Is Arcega-Whiteside better than Parris Campbell, the tOSU WR taken 2 picks after the Birds pick of JJ A-W? And since Safety seems like a real need for the Birds, it hurts that Nasir Adderley was taken 3 picks after JJ A-W, and Taylor Rapp was taken 4 picks after JJ A-W.
Puzzling pick by the Eagles. I can only assume that they had JJ A-W rated really high, and/or they didn't share my concerns about S, LBer, OL, or DL.
It is classic, since Dwayne Haskins did the exact same thing yesterday for his draft party.
Ok, not trying to be a wet blanket, but was this expected for our Nittany Lions? 75 picks in and only Miles selected?

I thought he was done, and unable to play another down every time he got up off the ground. The original rope-a-dope act.
Not unexpected. McGovern might have been the only other with day two potential. Wherever people think they're going to be picked you can usually add a round to it and that's where they'll really be picked.
I honestly do not follow the draft. Flip between commercials and follow here.
I’ll go back to “Hang’em High” and keep checking back.

This draft is showing PS's gap at WR and the top teams - OSU just had two WRs picked tonight.
With Jackson back, the speedy Campbell probably isn't as coveted as a bigger body WR. Not sure about the other positions as much, but it could appear that early, offense was the priority (did they need Sanders having signed Howard).
AO seemed to be most people's favorite to be our first pick. He's still available.
As far as the prognosticators, McGovern is possibly our next guy drafted (he's at #9 on Kipers best available now), but at this point most teams list of best available vs projected need vary greatly from the Kipers of the world.

Well they did have ARob, Godwin and Hamilton taken the last three drafts. If Thompkins or Juwanson could hold onto the ball it might have been four straight!?
