Miles is the first RB the Eagles have taken in the 2nd round since LeSean McCoy, in 2009. Since McCoy, the Birds have drafted 6 RBs, though none of them have been big contributors.
Same pick in both drafts, no. 53.

I hate the SEC but damn they had a lot of players drafted in the second round.
Eagles take a WR. Don’t get that one. I agree with Tom, they need a S to replace Malcolm Jenkins eventually. And they’re really needing LBs.
CLASSIC.....the 70th pick, a running back from Memphis, was out bowling with his family when he got the call that the Rams were picking him. He had just thrown a split (looked like 8-10) when his phone rang!
Puzzling pick by the Eagles. I can only assume that they had JJ A-W rated really high, and/or they didn't share my concerns about S, LBer, OL, or DL.
I thought he was done, and unable to play another down every time he got up off the ground. The original rope-a-dope act.You youngins don’t remember Jim Brown but I do. Greatest RB of all time.
yesOk, not trying to be a wet blanket, but was this expected for our Nittany Lions? 75 picks in and only Miles selected?

Not unexpected. McGovern might have been the only other with day two potential. Wherever people think they're going to be picked you can usually add a round to it and that's where they'll really be picked.Ok, not trying to be a wet blanket, but was this expected for our Nittany Lions? 75 picks in and only Miles selected?

I honestly do not follow the draft. Flip between commercials and follow here.Pretty much. Who would you expect to go earlier? Bates?

Is Arcega-Whiteside better than Parris Campbell, the tOSU WR taken 2 picks after the Birds pick of JJ A-W? And since Safety seems like a real need for the Birds, it hurts that Nasir Adderley was taken 3 picks after JJ A-W, and Taylor Rapp was taken 4 picks after JJ A-W.

Very, very happy for Sanders. A little teary-eyed, actually, after watching him take that call.
So Miles played HS ball in Western PA, played college ball in Central PA, and will play in the NFL in Eastern PA.
I could see the Steelers taking Amani at 83.
Doubtful
Nope I didn’t say that jack ass. I said corners can’t tackle. If you knew anything you’d know you block safetys and make corners miss. Jackass learn some footballOK jackass, so you're saying no DBs can tackle. Get a brain.

McGovern to the Cowboys
It is classic, since Dwayne Haskins did the exact same thing yesterday for his draft party.

Well they did have ARob, Godwin and Hamilton taken the last three drafts. If Thompkins or Juwanson could hold onto the ball it might have been four straight!?This draft is showing PS's gap at WR and the top teams - OSU just had two WRs picked tonight.
