NFL Free Agency & Trades -- 2019

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns keep adding weapons for Baker Mayfield.

They’re signing former Chiefs free agent tight end Demetrius Harris to a two-year deal, a league source told cleveland.com.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the deal.

Harris (6-7, 230) was signed by the John Dorsey as an undrafted free agent in 2013 out of Wisconsin-Milwaukee when he was general manager of the Chiefs.

He continues to rebuild the Browns in the same fashion he did the Chiefs. There, he added star players such as Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt. Here, he’s acquired Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, Hunt and more.

FWIW, for PSU player who xfered to Baylor, Phil Taylor announced his retirement today.

I’d like to thank the NFL and the Cleveland Browns for drafting me. It’s been a fun and tough 8 years. I’ve made my home in NE Ohio with my family. I love the Cleveland fans and can’t wait to give back to the community that supported me. I’m officially retiring! #DawgPound #4Life
