Him competing for Italy in the future wouldn't shock me at all.Thats not just a made up story it has legs to itYeah, but under what flag? I kid, mostly. It is possible.

Welcome. I'm giving this a Like for your great handle.Long time reader, first time poster. Just my two cents on Bo wrestling at 97kg in Italy. Is if possible that he is still in the process of bulking up in order to be a legit 86kg and he is not to the point where he wants to cut yet?

I think that theory is possible too. Getting a feel for 97kg guys isn't the worst thing if you're going to wrestle 86kg.
Have you seen his armsThis doesn't make sense to me. Bo wrestled 197 pounds last season and now he is trying to bulk up to 189 pounds? Color me skeptic on this one.
And to be clear, 97 kg = 213 lbs, so he's probably well under that today and wouldn't stand a chance against a roid-evanding Iranian who probably cut down to 213.He weighed in at 193lbs for final X. No, he's probably not under 189 right now--but he could be planning on cutting for trials but doesn't want to now.

Is this what Gilman was ranting about?
Is this what Gilman was ranting about?
on that topicProbably referring to Micic, the Amines, and Seabass who have already transferred. Particularly Micic as he qualified another country at Gilman’s weight.
.. disrespecting Mr. Hankey...then there is this hot take
That’s not good enough. We need Willy to tweet it and then delete the tweet, and then we need to start the nine month countdown.I heard from a reliable source last weekend that Suriano is done at Rutgers - he's not coming back.
Meaning what -- he's transferring, going MMA, something else?I heard from a reliable source last weekend that Suriano is done at Rutgers - he's not coming back.
“Real Wrestlers of Italy” show, if Askren has his way.Meaning what -- he's transferring, going MMA, something else?

Future plans weren't disclosed but sounded like he was done with college wrestling. Supposedly his father (and presumably Nick) was unhappy with how he was being treated and felt like he was being used but the program.Meaning what -- he's transferring, going MMA, something else?
That complaint sounds familiar somehow.
Seems as though neither of them will ever be happy. Maybe the sport will be better off with someone else who can be.
