Victim 2 was the only one reported to PSU official. The others are irrelevant in this trial.

JONATHAN JACOBS?
It's gonna be warm tomorrow. Maybe I'll take a ride to HBG if the jury has been settled. It's either that or spending all day washing my shoelaces. Can't say for sure - but I would be very surprised if there is much of a crowd...... beyond a handful of reporters (most of whom won't be paying much attention - and just hoping that a "sound bite" catches their ear) I'd be surprised if there were many folks
Well, with confidentiality my first thought is a victim, but I'm not sure what they might have to testify about that's relevant to the state showing Spanier's guilt. Other interesting potential guesses could be Fran Ganter or Sloane, which could open the door to learning more about 1998 - although I'm not sure why either would be referred to as confidential.hmm a confidential witness...any guesses?

someone who plans to ride his bike to Harrisburg.hmm a confidential witness...any guesses?
And therein lies the problem. They pleaded guilty to a single incident. You advocate tying them to other incidents they had nothing to do with...that's not justice...it's mob mentality that doesn't promote responsible reporting.
It's gotta be STD.
Ray Gricar.
They did release a picture of him:OAG calling a "confidential witness" they would not name

Crowd hasn't changed. They did release a picture of him:
The way things are going they are going to get a medium to come and channel JoePa...OAG calling a "confidential witness" they would not name
If you're correct, that points pretty strongly to Steve Sloane. Could 1998 be more strongly in the mix after all?Unlikely him...but perhaps someone he mentioned.

I've always thought so.
Wouldn't it be something if the state could actually produce a witness who hasn't been compromised? If you're correct, that points pretty strongly to Steve Sloane. Could 1998 be more strongly in the mix after all?

I'm tempted to agree. I think you and I have discussed the curious case of John Seasock on various occasions on this board once or twice over the years.I've always thought so.

I bet the confidential witness is v2. He said Sandusky told him that a psu admin might be calling since the admin told Sandusky that someone reported seeing the two of them in a sexual situation in the showers. So we have it confirmed that the prosecution plans on calling, at a minimum, Curley, Schultz, McQueary, and the confidential witness to testify against Spanier. Who that witness is is anyone's guess. We'll find out soon!
That person would be the equal of:Wouldn't it be something if the state could actually produce a witness who hasn't been compromised?
I like "outside the box" thinking like this!Ray Gricar.
Now I'll buy you a beer.Ray Gricar.
Technically "outside the river" thinking, but point taken.I like "outside the box" thinking like this!
I thought that as well.....but the whole notion of called Schultz and Curley could be a lark as well. So much gamesmanship at this point. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.Or maybe the confidential witness is a smokescreen and there is no such thing.
Maybe he's been in Witness Protection all these years....If they can produce Ray Gricar, I'd be happy to accept that C/S/S and Paterno were all complicit in this whole thing and TSM is completely innocent.
For the prosecution?Courtney, Joan Coble and Kim Belcher on the list.

I know, "you'll be here all week"....A medium? For this crowd, make it a XXXL.
Well....he would certainly be "confidential"....I bet the confidential witness is v2. He said Sandusky told him that a psu admin might be calling since the admin told Sandusky that someone reported seeing the two of them in a sexual situation in the showers.
