How could man to man coverage be any worse than or zone play this year? Obviously it is easy to find the holes in the zone. We make every QB look good.

he's not slow but has NO wiggle/agility...which is crazy considering he was 4/5 star rating...its like he put on too much muscle and got stiff...fast in a straight line but that's all

DE play has been bad. No pressure at all. Pitt is throwing short stuff, but even with longer developing crossing routes there is nobody in Picketts face. Second game in a row YGM has not been an impact player. The other people at DE have done NOTHING since game one.

JoMo didn’t have any answers in those situations either. I can’t believe they didn’t think about that all off-season. How to combat the DL tee-ing off, per usual. It’s the same shit, again.

Where do you pick up an oline coach mid season? A high school?
The defense has been bad in pass coverage for years. Most of the time a defender is not within 5 yards of the receiver and it allows a lot of 3rd and long conversions. Very frustrating.
No homo but I kinda wanna know more about grandma’s nuts.
So once again this offense cannot move the sticks outside of a few plays.....defense and DL in particular aren't getting near Pitt's QB. I just don't understand why they struggle to come out with an efficient game plan on O against these teams. Droppsies are also starting to leak back on to the field.
It continues to be obvious that schemes and gameday coaching hold this team back. Why is everyone griping about it as if this is not well known?

I think you're right. Also, I'm done with the RPO offense as primary scheme. It is too dependent on explosive plays that are slow developing.
Dabo Swinney said it best. His goal is to dominate everyone they play regardless of who is on the field against them. This game so far isn't what a champion looks like. Win or lose this simply isn't good enough especially after last week against Buffalo. We can bash the assistant coaches all we want but that all falls on Franklin. Not saying "Fire Franklin" but he needs to make some significant changes after this season barring huge improvement.
Someone else mention having to replace Trace, Saquon/Sanders, Godwin, Gesicki, etc. That's normal. That's what elite teams do. This is why we aren't elite. We do "miss a beat" when changes occur.
