At the start if this race announcer….a long time Toure de France reporter…. said he talked to people who worked these races for over 20 yrs and never heard anything so loud.
They are not allowed to use radios in this race like Tour races do. Said it was so loud that they wouldn’t have been able to hear the radios anyway. Even talking in a closed car was difficult.
The atmosphere in all the events have been great. Been fun to watch. Anyone who likes sports should be enjoying this
Yep. Watched archery gold round this morning. Ended up tied and the tiebreaker was one shot each, 70 meters, closest to center bullseye wins. Crowd went crazy
Women’s volleyball. Poland vs Brazil. Poland down 24-28….came back to tie it at 24-24. Then the fun began. Went 11 set points, Brazil takes set 38-36!
She’s lucky Athing Mu decided to become unmotivated and then fell at trials. I think Ms. Mu is going to come back with a vengeance in LA. She’s got David Rudisha level talent
As an aside, someone at work had beach volleyball on. Didn’t catch the name, but one of the Canadian women - my lord! She’s in best booty medal contention.
Yes indeed. And she is only 5’ 6”. A normal person, woman on US side was 6’ 4”!
