at 65 kg, Tank defeats Kevin Russell, 14-1 Technical Superiority, with 7 sec left in the 2nd. He got most of his points off of the Hi-C.
ZPain vs. James Green, at 65 kg
Zain gave up 2 on a double early on. He got a push out. Then a slide behind for a TD, then used the bow and arrow for a turn to pick up 2 back points. He lead 5-2 at the end of the 1st.
Zain got a TD on a counter off of a Green double to go up 7-2. Zain got another TD off of a deep double by Green to go up 9-2, with 55 sec left. And it's a final at 9-2.
I guess the 5 kg cut was too much for Green, or ZPain was too much for him.
Zain will take on Logie Bear in the next round.

Retherford takes it over for 2 more and it's 5-2 Retherford at the break! Another td for Retherford and it's 7-2 Zain! Another 2 off a single for Zain and now it's 9-2! Zain does it! 9-2 final over World Bronze Green!

So anxious to see how Zain competes with Logan now that he has had a few years to develop strength.
It's next in terms of their bracket. In terms of the tournament, R2 of 65 kg is not next. They are doing women's 58 kg and women's 63 kg, as well as Greco 85 kg.

Me too. But Stieber has been training fulltime for more than a year and has spent this season wrestling around the world. A Zain win would be a huge upset.

It would have been nice if Frank and Zain would have been on different sides of the bracket....That made no sense in a huge tour like this one....
