Because no team regardless of how good they are has ever struggled against a rival they've faced 100 times in their program's history.
If our coaching staff doesn't use this game as a true blue print then they should all be fired.

I’ve typically defended Harbaugh, not because I like him, but because I know how unrealistic fans can be (think back to criticism of JF before his recruits were actually on the field). No more though. Not only do they not show up for big games, they get dragged. You would have thought that recruiting/developing QBs would have been his biggest strength, but it’s sure been the complete opposite. I took Michigan +3.5 coming off of the buy week. It’s worth the small amount I bet watching them get embarrassed.
Well good thing you didn’t because “gattis’s” would have been awful use of s’s from a grammar perspective.

If McCaffrey is now truly their QB we'll see how the Gattis offense looks with a QB that can run it.

This reminds me - wasn’t Urban hired for some type of administration position at OSU after stepping down from the HC position? Did that fall through? I’m assuming seeing as how he’s doing analyst work now.
I may be wrong and wolve1972 can correct me, but I would say Patterson getting benched might put a crimp in his Heisman campaign.
He was an incredible recruiter and the WR development under him was phenomenal. No real reason to expect him to be a good OC though.

The fact he thought Shea was even a contender for the Heisman is scary. It will be interesting to see if Michigan is a better team with McCaffrey though.
