1. Cleveland- about as ho hum as you can get with 1 and 4....Could turn out great, but seems underwhelming.
2. Colts taking Nelson at 6. I saw CNNSI's Benoit crush this pick. I disagree, I love the pick. The franchise screwed the pooch when it decided not to protect Luck for years, this GM realizes that for the Colts to excel, Luck has to be healthy...Their defense may be woeful, but their Franchise QB must be protected. Colts can go D here on out though...
3. Bills taking Allen- I suspect that Allen won't pan out. I understand why Buffalo took him, and I think this is probably the best place probably for Allen to have gone, a strong arm in Buffalo goes along way, but his accuracy needs to improve.
4. Cards taking Rosen- I think they got the best QB and wish the Bills would have taken him,. Plus they gave up relatively little to get the franchise QB.
5. Saints gave up way too much....I see them having a 9-7 season and that first rounder looking pretty good next year.
6. I think the Bills got a steal with Edmunds at that time.
7. As much as I hate the Pats, I loved what they did last night. A versatile OL and a fantastic running back.....
8. Absolutely hated with Baltimore did last night. A 25 year old TE? The guy was playing against boys, no wonder he looked so good....Not a Jackson fan at all, accuracy issues and slight. Plus, I suspect that if you took a look at QBs drafted between 16 and 32 you would find the hit rate below 20%...Who was the last QB drafted in that area that has been good, Marino? I suspect Jackson will be playing WR in 3 years.
9. Hated Seattle's pick....Their OL has been garbage now for 3 years....Wilson has to run for his life, and OL fails to open any holes. Instead of reaching for a RB here, why not grab an OL and grab the RB in round 2 or 3?
