Someone I don’t believe that’s been mentioned is Carole King, an amazing singer, songwriter and musician. Multiple times Grammy award winner. Her Tapestry album is still one of the greatest selling albums of all time. Maybe not the best women’s singer ever, but certainly one of the most talented ladies in the history of music.
