VT is very similar to PSU. Land grant university, suburban locale, wide open spaces on campus, great local town. When I first saw it, I noted that it was as if you took PSU and transplanted it to Blacksburg. I saw a number of FB games there in the last four years and will ABSOLUTELY be there for our game in 2020. We have many great football traditions, but I can tell you -- when they play "Enter Sandman" as the home team takes the field under the lights -- you can't help but be pumped for the game.

My younger daughter is at UGA; there too, Athens is very similar to State College. Their Broad Street is very much like College Avenue -- university on one side, town on the other. However, the football mentality (and local culture), is very different, as you all know!

The graduate has a full time job with a great comp plan, and the UGA junior is interning this summer in Atlanta. One down, one to go!

Congrats!! Son is up the road at c-vile, but I am consistently impressed with tech and its students. They want to achieve, they’re ready to work, and they have great esprit de corps.
