I’ve seen it in entirety twice and certain parts more then that. As a person who loves real historical documentaries about almost anything and is a baseball fan I loved it. Ken Burns work never disappoints

Double thumbs up. Worth the time investment. The first few innings are amazing. If you like the early days of baseball, you should check out the Lawrence Ritter book, The Glory of Their Times. It was originally published in 1966 and in the mid-nineties, he released audio CDs of the actual interviews. Amazing to hear people who played with Cobb, Ruth, Wagner, etc. tell stories in their own voice. Worth finding.

FYI, the MLB Network plays it every off season. problem is you have to deal with the commercials. It's one of those things I can watch over and over.

The commercials on MLB are brutal. It is a wonderful documentary. I've seen it in bits and pieces, probably not all of it. Learned a lot. You follow a sport your whole life and think you know, but you don't know.
