There should be added drama to how many finalists and champs PSU will have.

I am enjoying my team and their historical dominance run. That and the fact the Dallas Cowboys sucked again this year.

Jerry Jones is doing his best to make Dan Snyder look like a competent owner by comparison. He'll never get there of course, but not for lack of effort.

I think a closer comparison is Al Davis. Jones does have 3 Super Bowl rings after all. But he's well beyond his expiration date just like Davis was running the Raiders into the ground.

Al Davis works too, though it's been a long time and my memory was an owner who acted erratically but aggressively toward (theoretically) winning. Also an owner who (like Jones) acted like GM and was bad at it.

To me, the Jones/Snyder comparison works because (1) Jones' needless public antagonism of players up for contract extensions (Prescott, Lamb, Parsons, etc.); (2) multiple comfortable/controllable coaching decisions as opposed to trying to hire the best options; (3) stadium issues; (4) hostile work environment/harassment of the staff and cheerleaders at least.

Come to think of it, some of those apply to Davis as well ... though unlike Jones and Snyder, he wasn't responsible for the Oakland stadium issues.
