OT: PSU Women's Volleyball

NCAA posted these so I don't know the photographer's name

Maybe a bad assumption.

Penn State swimming and diving had five current or former athletes competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Women's diving has Mary Ellen Clark, who won bronze medals in diving at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games.

(Boy time flies.)

again off the top of my head, i think only 1 PSUer made it into the semis before being knocked out. i can't recall seeing any "swimming and/or diving win the big ten and/or place at ncaas" articles on gopsusports. but i'd welcome being corrected

Obviously, nobody is going to challenge what you recall off the top of your head.

You're entitled to limiting your criteria to B1G wins or NCAA placements. I don’t.

When it comes to olympic sports, I think first of the Olympics, as you seemed to for some male track and field, as you highlighted it.

PSU sports featured a story on swimming and diving participation at Paris this year. I remembered Mary Ellen Clark off the top of my head.

wow what a team after Nebby I knew they would win they gave away that 2nd game could have swept but I will take it! WE ARE

I wish I understood volleyball rotations. Apparently, PSU got stuck in a bad rotation at the end of that 2nd set, and Louisville took advantage to win the set. Two of our defensive players/libero (Gillian Grimes and Quinn Menger, I believe) got stuck in the front row and Camryn Hannah got stuck at middle blocker. The team was actually laughing about it during the break between sets 2 & 3.
