OT: PSU Women's Volleyball

SVN had a nice pic standing next to two NCAA champs on his IG story.
This is so awesome.......thanks for sharing! First I love they are supporting another PSU team when they still have to wrestle. Even better this reflects Cael's attitude of staying loose and having fun! Loved the shot of Cael eating the apple. And AB was priceless... who was the guy pulling the strings of his hoodie?

Also curious who is the guy who said not to say anything no matter who wins the point. Funny guy, and loved his enthusiasm. What a great weekend for PSU sports.

Ryder, no?

I wish I understood volleyball rotations. Apparently, PSU got stuck in a bad rotation at the end of that 2nd set, and Louisville took advantage to win the set. Two of our defensive players/libero (Gillian Grimes and Quinn Menger, I believe) got stuck in the front row and Camryn Hannah got stuck at middle blocker. The team was actually laughing about it during the break between sets 2 & 3.
After each sideout the players on the team that is servings rotates one position (you probably got this already).
There are some players that are back row player and others that are front row. When a front row player rotates to the back they are subbed out (and when that player rotates to the front, subbed in). But a team only gets 15 subs in a game. So, a back row player came into the game and when they rotated to the front they had to keep playing. Even though they were genetically illequipped (vertically challenged) to complete in that position.

Thank you for the very helpful explanation.
