OT: Weekend Jukebox - whatcha got?

So many memories

But life is amazingly beautiful at 73. Can you remember your first slow dance?
Very nice Mary.
No, I can't. I was terribly shy in my early teen years. The fear of asking a girl to dance, and the subsequent failure to do much more than walk in a small circle with the young lady, has, thankfully, blurred my memory. :)

All these ARS live recordings are recorded from an album. You can hear the skips and scratches, which is very cool. While Fair was at the supposed hall of fame, I should have had him inquire about this band. They tore it up.

Listening to it on vinyl, no less. Finally ditched my worn-out 80’s-era Technics turntable with a snazzy new Fluance. I’m a happy boy...

So I have to comment on this.....

I was inspired to write a poem for the lady that I am seeing that was based on our first date last December. I was so into her and was hoping that she was into me. There was voodoo in the vibes. I was captured by her style.

So I wrote the poem, gave it to her and we have been into each other ever since.

Not really familiar with this band, but saw a tweet from Sheryl Crow that pointed me to this song. Apparently on a new album released today.
