Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio State all sitting in the cellar with Rutgers:

Penn State 2-2 1.5 10-7
Iowa 2-2 1.5 10-7
Michigan 1-3 2.5 11-6
Indiana 1-3 2.5 11-6
Ohio State 0-3 3 10-6
Rutgers 0-4 3.5 11-6

Michigan should be 0-4 too. PSU left them off the hook last week. We should be 3-1. Standings are upside down this year, actually a big opportunity this year for PSU if the young 'uns can get their act together.

Upside down except Rutgers is still Rutgers.

Like everything, it goes in cycles. A few years ago Big Ten football was down and BBall was up. Now seems the opposite.

Usually 9-9 in conference gets you into the tournament. Maybe 10-8 or 11-7 this year

Penn State will have to win 10 or 11 games to get to the tournament from this conference. 9-9 won't get it done with their OOC resume.

Agreed - and the team need 2-3 marquee wins

And they have opportunities over their next 4 to do it. If they go 2-2 against Minnesota, Indiana, @ Purdue, @ Wisconsin, then that would be pretty big for their ability to get into the postseason this year. The schedule gets weaker after that Wisconsin game.
