Two things make me happy. One, Heil lost again. Two, I won't have to watch him much longer in any case. God, he is awful to watch.

I enjoyed watching Jack beat Heil almost as much as watching Moisey pin Gilman 2 years ago. Agree that I really dislike Heil's wrestling style, especially when he can wrestle more aggressively but chooses not to.

Willie kept talking about the Italian crowd. Looked like less than 100 total in attendance and I bet only a few of them (if any) were Italian. I really thought they would have mega promoted this event to have a big crowd but I guess not.

The new rule has definietly affected Heil. He was virtually impossible to score on last year with the combination of his defense/rules. His defense is still great, but the rule took away his go to..
If she's from OK State then she is a second hand dipper. Willie got to be careful that she doesn't run off with his bottle.
Do they dip in Italy? Don't think so, as it is always unfiltered, self-rolled, so this may be new to them. But on a Navy base, so ....

I mean he can’t just stay where ever he wants in a scramble anymore but to me it looks like it hasn’t affected him too much. He’s still going to scrambles and he’s still finding ways to be successful there. He couldn’t really scramble off those last 2 shots by Jack at all
Listened to a Podcast, on my run yesterday, where they interviewed Pop and Smith. Said they only had 45 Italian credentials/Passes allocated, since it was on a US Naval Base. They expected a big crowd from the seamen, as prior events on base did well. The initial location was some Italian auditorium (?), but the authorities wouldn't approve (some sort of cultural reference), so the Naval Base was the backup.
I think he would have gotten them stalemated if they were using last years rules. That's the difference.
