Football Penn State to face No. 11 SMU in first round of College Football Playoffs

the whole country seems to think we and Texas both got obscene gifts, particularly since neither of us have any big wins. When Penn State and Texas get better draws than Oregon and UGA, something is off.

As many said prior, the 5/6 looked like the best path from the get-go the moment auto bids went to 4 conference winners. Flawed system in that regard. Traveling for the other rounds stinks too in my book.

They have a very mobile quarterback and three very good wide receivers plus a running game. On top of that the front floor is really good. I never said they were as good as Oregon. I said that they have a similar style of organ
Agree. SMU has excellent speed in their offensive skill positions.

That has to change as well...home until the title game. At the worst, Oregon should be hosting the 8/9 winner.

The committee. All games will be neutral crews

Dumb @as shows again his complete ignorance..... the CFP administers all elements of the CFP Playoff. The B1G has zero to do with the administration of CFP games.... or assigning Officiating crews. The CFP using PSU's venue for one of their 1st RD games has zero to do with the b2g assigning crews for PSU home games during regular season. ZERO. I believe the CFP established the rule back when it began in 2014 that all CFP games would be Officiated by crews which were "neutral" crews relative to the Conferences of the two participants.

This is a massive advantage for PSU and disadvantage for duhO$U as their postseason records versus the SEC reflect (bowls, including BCS Era, have also long used Neutral Crews relative to participants). duhO$U's all-time record versus SEC in postseason is 2-12 with first game occurring in 1978 - many times losing as the higher ranked favorite (PSU during the same period is 10-7 versus SEC - often times winning as the lower ranked underdog). duhO$U's abysmal postseason record, especially against SEC, demonstrates that they are one of most consistently wildly over-rated teams in the postseason and the b2g's corrupt hack Officiating Crews play a central role in this (last year being another great example where a 11-1 higher ranked duhO$U team loses to a 10-2 lower-ranked underdog Missouri team in Cotton Bowl, where mighty duhO$U put up 3 freaking points in losing to Missouri 14-3. In fact, duhO$U put up more PENALTIES (8) than they did points (3). LMAO, yeah duhO$U isn't disadvantaged when not playing with a corrupt b2g hack Officiating Crew..... riiiiiiggggghhhhtttttt.).

You didn't get that was making fun of him and others like you that focus on the refs?

Good luck!! Can’t wait to watch all these games!!

Hope to be in SB to at least tailgate and hoping for bad weather for ticket prices to drop. Otherwise, an IU friendly bar with friends.

Are you ok? You sound like you are hyperventilating.
