Amazing draw for PSU. Now it’s up to the coaches and the team.
I'm surprised but they made the right call with SMU. If nothing else it will be fun to listen to the whining "it just means more" crowd for the next few weeks.

Ohio State has a gauntlet. PSU has a much safer pathway.
Saban makes a point though.. SMU should never have been ranked that high during the end of season rankings..

Ok. Now…when do we play? If we win, which Bowl location do we play Boise? Are they going to drag this out 4 hours?
Oregon is probably the best team but that officiating crew was once again incompetent to the extreme..
We’re so much more talented than SMU and more physical. Great draw for PSU. We’d have a bye, but a tougher path to the semi’s if we’d won yesterday!
If anyone on here starts bitching about noon then just ban yourself from the forum.
Again, no bitching about noon. The committee handed us a path to the finals, better than all other 11 teams in the field. Period.
And anything less than a semifinal birth is a disaster with this bracket.
Great draw. We miss OSU and Oregon until the championship game. I like how PSU matches up against everyone on our side of the bracket.

I suspect that they’re a different team on the road and on grass; they played at Duke in late October or early November and looked terrible. They’re the classic Southern finesse speed turf team. However, all of the pressure is on PSU, and you know that our defense will put the offense in a first quarter hole by their comatose start.
The best thing about this? No Big Ten officials.
That's the big negative. Franklin is going to have to figure a way to have his team ready to play.
We start slow in the base case. This has got to change.
