Basketball PENN STATE VS INDIANA PREVIEW & GAMETHREAD - 3:30 p.m EST - CBS

Collapse with a little help of the refs but mostly inability to break the press and poor defense

Wow! Took 10 years off my life but a win is a win. 2 close overturns in a row, both times watching stand up comedy from the ref, and then they miss a kicked ball that even Stevie wonder could see. Regardless, on to the championship game against Purdue and Thanos.

13 pt lead with 2 minutes to play and Indy closes it to 1 pt with 30 seconds to play. Only 8 TOs but 4 came in that minute and a half.

It sure helps to make FTs. 23-26 is phenomenal but the misses came at a bad time for my heart.

They can catch the heel even with the plane and the ball maybe skimming the top of a shoe, but they miss a blatant kick on an inbounds pass.
I’d you recall, they didn’t get those in real time…but both were obvious with replay

So are they now, finally a firm 10 seed? Seems like they have done more than enough to gain a seed or 2 or 3.

The good news is that we could lose by 40 tomorrow and it won't matter since the bracket will already pretty much be set...bad news is that a win also likely would do nothing for us (from a tourney standpoint...would still be great to win a Big Ten title).

I get that, but why didn’t they review the 3 point shot Indiana made with a minute left. I just rewatched it and I couldn’t tell from the TV angle due to a player being in the way, but his left foot was really close to the line. If we’re going to go review crazy, then review everything.

Combo of terrible management of the press and IU started making everything as PSU decided not to play D. Once it was 13 PSU just let them score on a couple possessions and just let up too early. IU suddenly got momentum and it spiraled from there.
