Then PSU shouldn’t schedule any team OOC that is an underdog with lesser talent that they recruit against and whose fans chant "Penn State sucks" duringlike Temple, Akron, etc. Pitt, at least, is an in-state game with much interest, with a chance to win.
Let's summarize....in your last few posts you:No, I don't feel that way. I was just saying that if you guys feel that is a reason for you not to play then the same applies to Akron, Temple, etc. You guys feel superior, and losing to Pitt is humiliating. It would be the same with a loss to Temple or Akron, even though I feel there is less chance of it. Pitt, despite its poor recruiting in your eyes, was good enough to beat PSU, and Clemson in the national championship year, and undefeated Miami last year. Even though I admit that PSU has recruited better and is a better program presently, there is a place for the game. There is great interest in it, is an easy away game to attend, and has more impact than many of the OOC games that are scheduled. I won't lose sleep over the discontinuation, especially since Pitt picked up W Va, but it was great while it lasted. Leaving now, catch you guys again someday.
1. Admitted there's no upside in this series for Penn State.
2. Admitted that for Penn State, losing to Pitt would be like losing to Temple or Akron.
Yup, you're pretty much done and should be moving along. You've said everything that needs to be said
