so that we're all (or most) on the same page, I wanted to provide some info in advance of NCAAs, of how things will operate here over the course of NCAAs.

There are 6 sessions -- two each on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. I'll sent up threads for each Session. In addition, I'll provide PBP during Sessions 1, 2, 3, and 4. My schedule is still in flux for Saturday, but there's a good chance that I will not be on the board for Session 5. As has been the case in past years, I will not do PBP for the finals. I probably will contribute to the Session 6 thread, but after all that PBP of the previous sessions, I like to sit back and just watch the finals.

As always, please keep discussions about matches, team scoring, etc. in the respective Session threads. I'll do my best to indicate which mat PSU matches are slated to be on, but that can get tricky to do in the middle of PBP, so the assistance of others with that is always appreciated.

Traffic on this board usually goes up over the course of the NCAA tournament, both from PSU fans that rarely post on this board and non-PSU fans. I enjoy the additional activity, but not when it results in petty fights in the thread. If posts seem crazy, either don't respond to them, or Report them, and I'll deal with them in time.

And hopefully, Roar, NoVa, androcles, and many others that are at NCAAs will pipe in after the sessions to give us their take from inside the arena. I believe BWI's Tim Owen will also be at Nationals, and will be providing his take on the matches, and other aspects of NCAAs.

Here's to three great days of wrestling. Let's have some fun, and enjoy watching PSU's wrestlers.

There is going to be so much happening starting tomorrow and so much excitement along with things to talk about afterwards, that I wanted to say thanks ahead of time for all the work you and all the other great posters here will put in to make this an enjoyable and memorable tournament.

For those of us working and trying to keep up however we can, it is very much appreciated to hear firsthand what is going on as it happens. Definitely take time to enjoy the finals and hope all of you that made the trip have a great time out there.

Yessir, en route now. If the rest of the travel goes to plan, I'll be arriving around the time session I ends, so I'll contribute to Tom's threads as we get into session II. I'll help with match updates but I'll moreso try to provide comments from wrestlers/coaches and some additional color from the floor when possible.

This will be my seventh national tourney covering for BWI and it's an event that I always look forward to and something that I tell people is unlike anything else. The highest of highs, but also the lowest of lows, which makes it an extremely difficult yet exciting event to cover. I hope to share as much as I can with everyone here
