Funny story about it: apparently the foreign ref had never seen one before and gave exposure points to the other guy. Simmons had to tell the ref to check for the pin.
Well, funny if you're not the opponent stuck in that position while the ref tries to figure out which way is up.
You often see that on spladles where the head/shoulders get stuck and pinning wrestler has to re-adjust because they're "head inside" versus "head outside" on the Nana-split.... Bo's splade against The Mullet (I actually like Sammy Brooks - like his aggressive, let it all hangout style) was one of the cleanest spladles I've ever seen in terms of taking him straight square to his shoulder blades.
