Watkins with 3 blocks out of the gate. Good start up 10-3.
Jones is lighting it up. Have to get Stevens involved. They’ve jumped out to early leads before and didn’t maintain it.

My son is 16 and will watch every game won or lose. This could definitely make it a lot more bearable.So where has this been my whole life
Need to work it inside a bit but playing great defense. Need to get Stevens going.
We have athletes, we just don’t have anyone that can make a layup or an inside jumper.

I thought they were winning at half time? Never trailed. With all the negativity here you would think they were losing. I think some people prefer them losing.
Fouls are killing us... Wheeler picked up 2 very cheap ones, as well as getting T'd up
bingo. Same old crap? We are winning by 8 @ GTown... Were we up 18 earlier? Yes, but hoops is a game of runs.

Funny how the teams PSU beats are never any good according to the negative "fans". Give it a rest and try to see some positives for a change.
Looks like Watkins is in better shape than what he showed so far in his PSU career. A little up and down the court and he's not bending over catching his breath. That's a good sign.....

Seeing Ewing on sidelines reminds me of high school. We played against him in 1981 Massachusetts D1 State final. Had game tied at the half then early in third quarter our student section started pointing at him chanting "you can't read, you can't read". He then went on to completely destroyed us and win by 15. He must have weighted about 165 pounds back then.
For a guard oriented team we are pretty poor at breaking a press. Some of these passes are god awful.
14 turnovers in the first half (many of them unforced) does not point to a final four level team.
Pretty similar feel to a lot of our games the past few years, great start then TRY to hold on....
We have one of the better front courts in the B10 this season... guard play really isnt our strength
Nobody says this is a final 4 team. I guess anything less than that and you think the team stinks.
I didn’t say they stunk...I said they weren’t that great...they’re unranked and they have a butt ton of turnovers, that says to me they’re not that great. It’s not Georgetown of the 80’s.
If we hold on, this will probably go down as a Quad 2 win at year's end, since it is on the road. That's a resume builder.
And much more likely to be a 1 than a 3 (I’d say it has about the same chance of a 1 as a 2).
