“This is big-boy football,” Morgan said. “That’s what I’m looking for. I’m a big-time player and I want to play on the biggest stages. This gives me an opportunity to do that. You play against Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia — the big-time schools — 24/7. That’s what I want to do. I want to be that guy.”

Did he even start at Pitt? He seemed like a co-starter or complimentary player.

Sounds like he wants to go to the SEC. But when the music stops for the portal game there may be no seats left and he may end up at Slippery Rock.

Franklin did recruit him out of H.S. but as I remember PSU filled their DE quota in that class with players higher on their board. And with the nucleus of Robinson, DDS, Vanover, Vanover and Fisher it would seem smarter to develop the younger DE's that are incoming rather than use one of the last scholarships on Morgan.......

He may not be a "big enough boy".....

Slippery Rock needs players too.

Playing 24/7 sounds like a scheduling nightmare for whatever school he plays for as well as those 3 schools that he apparently wants to play against.

He signed with Arkansas.

Yes, Franklin did initially recruit Morgan out of DeMatha High School in Maryland, but Penn State cooled on him when they realized he was too small to play both DEnd and interior DLine. He was a Good player in high school, but not a Star player. He left Pitt to get more playing time.

Pitt is better than Arkansas? He will likely be further down the depth chart?

I have a better quote from someone from Pitt: Narduzzi.

Obviously trying to justify Pitt's 50th place recruiting ranking finish coming after last years ACC title, he made this bullshit quote: "we were successful in getting 85% of our targets". He only makes offers to low and mid 3stars? How about the 15 or so PSU commits he offered? He didn't offer most of the top PA kids, which he didn't get?

Narduzzi is a master, resentful bullshitter. His other great quotes in the past: I don't recruit stars, I recruit character. Also, we only take best from W. PA.

Pathetic. His own fan base at Pitt knows otherwise.

Yep, it's as if he was auditioning to be POTUS !!!!!

But at least with Duzzy it's strictly entertainment.

That’s a good landing spot for him. We went to the Arkansas-Mizzou game on Black Friday and the Tigers gnashed their defensive line pretty good with the run game. Couldn’t get much pressure on their QB, either. Hopefully he does well there.

I’m not sure who has the better program overall, but Pitt definitely has the better defensive line. I think it’s a win for both parties; Morgan gets more playing time while Pitt is able to move onto their younger defensive line prospects that we’re excited about.
