The game averaged 7,606,000 viewers, the second-most-watched Week 3 game across all networks and fifth-best game of the year. The number of 7.6 million viewers is one of the five best September game audiences on ABC since the start of the 2018 season.

The matchup between the Tigers and the Nittany Lions peaked from 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. with 8.9 million viewers in the closing minutes of the game. This was the most-viewed Week 3 game on ABC since 2011 and the audience was up more than 100 percent ABC’s Week 3 game between Miami and Louisville.

Next year the week 3 game also includes Auburn vs PSU.

You can do a comparative analysis of the two games and/or compare this years 730 telecast with next years 730 telecast in the event two other teams are scheduled for 730.

please make sure to show all your work and turn in your blue book.

Love ya brother, but nobody is watching that game. I’m a Hoosier, they absolutely suck. They had a incredible season last year. They beat teams that had historically horrific seasons. The world is round again for me, IU football sucks, IU bball is gonna be really good.
Here's a newsflash - viewers aren't just tuning in (or not) because of Indiana. There will be plenty of interest in this game, particularly from those of us looking forward to a payback beat-down.

Call me stoopid, but why aren’t the “change agents” within PSU’s bloated (and perhaps incompetent) administrative hierarchy not leveraging this obvious marketing power to effect change within the B1G?

The threat of “leaving” can be very powerful. This is one of those times.

PSU, as a “temporary independent” (much like Notre Dame) would be a highly coveted “house of money” for potential suitors.

PSU’s contractual obligations to the B1G can be broken …. it only requires a few, easily addressable, things. Litigation is one of those things.

Does PSU Inc have what it takes to maximize their value as an academic and athletic institution?

Do you seriously believe PSU could gather at least $55 million in media rights for the year?!?

Great point. Penn state will always be second fiddle because penn states sees itself as second fiddle.

IU basketball….just two players away from being two players away for years.

You would but the rejects in charge don't have the pants (pun carefully intended) to make this work in our favor. No smarts, no cajones. If I'm missing a 'makes-ya-feel bettah' pronoun... oops.

It's spelled c-o-j-o-n-e-s. "Cajones" means drawers, as in chest of.

PSU athletics is run by amoeba. Those in charge of the rest of he University aren't much further up the evolutionary chain.

Wrongo. Watched the #8 Cincy /Indy game and Indy had the game in hand until they fumbled on the Cincy 2. Suspect they will finish in top 25. Excellent coach.
Indy BB, history
