Boneheads at ESPN call State College, College Station when talking about the whooping Michigan took last year during the UCF Temple broadcast a few minutes ago.

To people outside of college football it may see like a whatever moment... but the lack of ESPN's attention to detail, or really giving a crap about reporting THE RIGHT stuff is ridiculous.

The mispronunciations during the Penn State Iowa game were ridiculous. I mean THAT'S YOUR JOB

Have also heard in the past (on more than one occasion) State College incorrectly identified as College Park.

It just makes no sense to me. I consider myself to be a big college football fan, and pride myself on knowing where the majority of school are located. My friends who are every bit as passionate about the sport as I am, can also name almost all of them. The fact that ESPN has announcers on the air that blow a call like that when they know prior to the broadcast that they will have to do a segment to market the upcoming big games over the weekend.

College Station my ass... Anyone notice how college station just happens to be where Texas A&M resides, who I'd say is VASTLY overrated and ranked with 3 losses? Why boost A&M? .... Because it's arguably Bama's best win

If we could just get them to say "U-P" instead of State College or Penn State that could get really fun.

The path to becoming an announcer on espn involves blowing more than his call! ;)

Or...... it was a slip of the tongue - the tongue in the mouth of a numbskull who’s words ought not to be given any weight anyway.
This announcer has probably slipped his tongue in places other than the mouth of said numbskull! ;)
