Reno Tourny.

Not a duel at all...thank goodness ;).

Team tournament, 15 max wrestlers unless a "B" team also registers. Highest "scorer" at each weight. Only 6 places (not 8 as in other tournaments if recent past is any indication).

This is available via a Flo subscription correct? Will there be a decent amount of competition for the guys like with the Scuffle in years past? I honestly do not know much about the field other than the recent comment that Ok St will not have starters there.

It's honestly not even close to Scuffle, Midlands, or Vegas. It's kind of a bummer from a fan perspective. But yes, Flo will be covering the event. 141 will be a good weight for Jimmy.

The Missouri "B" team? Frankly their "A" team looked like a B team against the tanmen.
Hah! Not really what I was meaning, but now I see it on the list. There's a provision to bring more than 15 wrestlers. The second team (up to 15 wrestlers) costs as much as the first 15, I believe, though it's not done frequently to my knowledge. Must admit though, I have not followed this tournament for several years.

Based on his dual meet loss, is it likely that Rasheed has to beat Morelli here (assuming they meet) to get back on the mat or do people think that even with a loss, it remains an open competition?

It's an interesting point. It's looking like the only competition here will be Jacobe Smith and Jim Wilson--though I'm sure to be missing someone. Both are good c, but wrestlers Morelli and Rasheed need to get through. I think the loser of the tournament would be smart to enter Midlands. Build your résumé where you can. Hell, I'd send all 3 guys to Midlands (Hall), but I'm just a perpetual whiner. Obviously, they'd have to fund it themselves.

I assume it's still open, based on what CS has indicated.

Morelli had a nice win yesterday against Lombardo, but we need to keep that in perspective. Preisch (Lehigh), whom Rasheed lost to last weekend, is, IMHO, better than anybody Morelli faced in a dual or at the Keystone Classic. Wilson (Stanford) is the only one that Morelli has faced (outside of Rasheed at the KC) that was even competitive.

Morelli and Rasheed bring different things to the match. I'm happy to let things play out. Perhaps the coaching staff will make a decision in early January, when B1G competition starts, though it would not surprise me if they allow both to compete in future duals, and make a final decision as we get closer to the B1G Tournament.

Yep. Jim Wilson has not had the same season Preisch has had. Wilson has a 9-1 loss to Amine of Michigan and a SV win over Morrissey of Purdue.
