Well, that didn't take very long.
So now who goes to VaTech? UCLA still has an opening, but heard they are waiting for the UVA guy.

Not particularly, but I have a good recipe, so that alone makes me qualified.
If I was the UVA guy, I would not go to UCLA. Bennett is revered at UVA, and he has the program rolling. UCLA is a dumpster fire and hasn't been top notch for years. Sometimes there are bigger and better things than just money and the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, i.e. UCLA.
Inclined to agree. Not sure that UCLA could or would put together a comp package that would tempt Bennett...which means you should expect them to announce his hiring next week.
They can have him. I’ve said this before, but I wouldn’t want someone like Buzz Williams within 100 miles of any school that I root for. The way he screwed with DJ Newbill says a whole lot about how Buzz feels about his players.
I'd wager a small amount on Cincy coach Mick Cronin. VT AD Whit Babcock came from Cincy where Cronin has been head coach for a long time. Cincy is a good hoops school but AAC is not ACC.
I am firmly in the Buzz Williams can’t coach a lick camp. Saw him live a few years ago against the Syracuse zone and it was pathetic how unprepared he was. That said, he has a surprisingly good record.
My guess I that he plays the recruiting game well but can’t coach to save his life. It catches up to him in big games. Texa$$$$ A&M is right up his alley.

Kevin Willard, SHU's coach, is a leading candidate for the VA Tech job. Hope he stays at the Hall.
I'd strongly consider it. I think UCLA has the higher ceiling, as they probably should be the big dog in a Pac12 that's a lot more manageable than the ACC. Bennett could win anywhere he goes, but I'd see him getting players a notch above he's even getting at Virginia today.
