So is Shakur moving back up to 97 or......................

Wow!!!
Started to read through this thread, but got lost somewhere in the middle of page 2.

Anyhow, a few thoughts.

1. With Brooks stepping into the line-up it's clear Cael is going all-in.

2. Next fix will likely come at 197, whether that fix will be Shack or Beard remains to be seen. ( I'm assuming Shack if he's healthy) Either way we will have an AA candidate at that weight.

3. That leaves 125 and 149, but I'm not sure there is a fix there.

At 125 - hard to believe we are 1-15 in Big Ten duals the last 2 years. At the end of the day I suspect Cael will go with Teske. Maybe he can wrestle himself into a national qualifier.

At 149 I've got to believe Verk can be a qualifier, but man, it's frustrating to watch him wrestle. I wonder if Pipher might factor in here.

I mean, I’d like to see that match, but I don’t think it’s really necessary if Shakur is healthy.

Imho, I believe they are going to keep running Conel out there. The more Shaq wrestles the better chance he gets hurt. Just save him for big ten and ncaa tournament. This way are you give Conel a shot and it becomes evident to all he’s not. You don’t need his points for any other dual. It would be mighty cool to keep Shak under cover and let him get some his first match in late January in Iowa. Where he comes back and pins Warner to secure the victory. Boom
