Statistically average but tough to beat? If you follow the analogy:
Carolina loses when?
When they:
- A Cam Newton type player at QB who can throw some but is more dangerous running due to his size.
- The NW defense, like the Panthers, keeps everything in front of them and the linebackers make plays.
- Sure tacklers.
- Special teams good to very good at times.
- Two corners that can play man.
Carolina loses when?
When they:
- Play a team that can run effectively.
- Face quality QBs.
- Teams are patient in the pass game, getting first downs not necessarily chunk plays.
- Convert in the red zone.
- Keep Cam Newton in the pocket.
- Pick off some passes.
