So what does the all-knowing board think?

Hoping for Lee, and Rasheed earned his starting spot.

On another note just watched flo’s PSU-Michigan white board wars. Bader and some other guy did it. Hilarious how the one guy picked Nolf by regular decision, and Bader barely picked him by a major. Said it be a close match til the 3rd until Nolf opens it up. Maybe it’s just me but I see Nolf tearing up Panteleo. He is going to pin or tech him, or do both!!

I say yea......for the reasons I stated earlier....plus the fact that there are a lot of lightweights coming to PSU in the next two years and Nick is currently healthy.....the redshirt can come in handy in the future. Also add in the obvious fact that PSU needs all the points they can get this year. On the other hand....if coach said that Nick and his parents have the final say....your word trumps all.

My prediction, Lee wrestles tonight. Shak goes at 197 with Cassar going on Sunday (see if he can bonus a weak wrestler) and we see Kuhn next weekend.

PSU will weigh in their best lineup tonight. Kuhn, Lee, Shak go........my guess.

Whether duels matter or not;), all three can benefit from the experience against a good squad and managing their weight over multiple days on the road.

Shak goes tonight. As a coach you have to award performance. If he wins easily I think he goes Sunday. If he is in a war than Cassar goes Sunday.
As for Kuhn, I don't think we'll see him for a couple of weeks. I think they'll try to get him some opens to help the resume and conditioning.
The Lee situation is the most complex. I think he travels and if family gives ok, which maybe was discussed during the recruiting of at least 2 of their sons. I could see Cael using him if the match dictates it. For instance , the match starts at 125 and we are down double digits after 2 and Messa appears to be wrestling. I would think it's time.

I don;t think Kuhn goes since as of Wednesday Cael said he hadn't certified yet. Hoping that Lee and Rasheed both go.

As of Tuesday, Cael said that there was no new additions to the roster, so things change fast.;) Curious as to who made the trip.

I’d like to know “who made the trip” as well. I would think some of our insiders can at least divulge that info as it doesn’t mean much.

Mark Hall posted Verkleeren is making his first trip with team this weekend an I’m sure he won’t be wrestling. I heard the total number you can take is 15. So that leaves 4 more. Assuming Shak, Gardener and Schnupp as starters per match notes that leaves 4 non starters to be eligible for trip. I’m thinking Kuhn, Lee, Cassar, Cutch

What is the word on Cutch's injury from the Scuffle? Is he back wrestling in the room?

Not an insider but I doubt it. I think his back is a problem. Cael said he will be traveling with the team all year because he is so important to the team. I take that as meaning the kids a great kid, the team loves him, I believe he’s team captain and even though he might not don the PSU singlet again he is the ultimate team guy.

I could be wrong and maybe he’s back wrestling. As much as I love Cutch and appreciate all he’s given, it seems he’s a clear number 3 behind Shak/Cassar at this point

I hope it wasn't anything too serious. I know he planned on playing baseball in the spring and I hope he has that opportunity....

I'll take that bet. We can have spyker hold the money. Insert devil emoticom here. Why isn't there a devil emoticom any more? It's the one I used the most. Sigh. :(

You know the winner would never see the money:)

How about something simple..whoever wins, the other person has to respond to the other as "Sir" for a week..if you win, I must call you Sir Nova..I win you call me Sir Pish..a little nobility bet:p

I think we can take everything Cael said about 125, 141 and 197 with a grain of salt.

I'm quite certain Kuhn didn't just show-up on Cael's doorstep Saturday morning and ask if he could wrestle.

I suspect there has been a plan in action for more than a month, and that Carson closer to ready than Cael lets on.

Although I agree with everything you said he still has to get certified at 125 and although they may have fast tracked that I'm pretty sure they could not even schedule it until he was officially on the team.

Back to this did not just happen out of the blue without some sort of plan. At any time, immediately after he was a team member they could have him certified.

As always, whatever I think probable is possibly incorrect but I am going to be surprised if they aren't trying out the new team member tonight.
