Starocci

I can only think of that great year end banquet put on by the Penn State Wrestling Club. The tradition is to let the seniors speak. With all these additional years, All these guys will have their PhDs. at future banquets. We will literally be hearing from Dr. Howard, Dr. Bravo-Young, Dr. Lee, Dr. Bartlett (149), etc.
Paging Dr. Howard.....

Know that you're half joking, but Kemerer would in fact be a 7th year senior. Eierman would also be a 7th year guy. Marinelli would be a 6th year senior. Young would be a 6th year senior. That's 40%.

And Lee, DeSanto, Murin and Warner will be in their 5th year.

I doubt youngsters like Kennedy and Ybarro will be happy about sitting another year.

In all fairness, Joe Lee and Beard both waited a long time as well. (Seth was on that plan as well) Granted - that was definitely all agreed upon coming in since they all willingly greyshirted.

I suppose Penn State could win if
Iowa Doesn't Get A Finalist.....
MY MAN!

Don't forget Kerk's 50/50 chance of being on Cassi's side of the bracket and taking him out earlier than otherwise costing them points as well.

Something that concerns me a lot is that Fresno State has a pretty decent HWY who is likely to qualify for the NCAAs, and he and Seth might end up on the same side of the brackets. I would hope that the NCAA seeding committee uses some common sense here.

They may not have to. AJ has yet to wrestle this year. Injury?

Which means he would have to win the PAC-12 to qualify. I think the young man from Arizona State would have a lot to say about that. That said.....I don't believe he is wrestling at all this year. I thought I heard/read he was planning on or did transfer to South Dakota

Nice theory, but three bits of information that you're probably not aware of.

1. Fresno State is in the Big 12 conference, not PAC 12
2. AJ qualified for the NCAAs through the Big 12 two years ago
3. AJ beat Schultz last year at the Roadrunner Open

Whether or not he wrestlers in this year's Big 12 tournament remains to be seen.

As I stated.....I think it is moot because he transferred to South Dakota State and is sitting out the year

I did some checking with my CA contacts. AJ is still at FSU and plans to graduate this spring. He's hanging on to two more years of eligibility that he'll be able to use at South Dakota. So no chance of going against Seth this year, but it's possible in the next two.

If Carter and Kemmerrer do meet. I would expect low scoring match because both guys defense is so good. Probably Kem top position would make him the favorite. Carter has shown great ability to get out from under.
Carter ability to fend off good shots is truly special. He is tremendous on his feet with his quickness and agility.

I'll give Kemerer round 1. But that's it.

Kemdawg wont sit back and wait for the match to end in OT. I expect him to attack attack attack.

May work to CStar favor, probably wont.

You could apply to 82bordouex's school of Gifs, Lathe Operations and Sommelier University. I heard admissions is rather selective and individuals accepted at the eight ivies, Stanford and University of Chicago have been rejected to admittance at this Erie Campus.

Word further is it is advised you take a gap year after graduation and before work as the commencement and subsequent commencement party requires some recovery time.

if a guy calling himself Mr. Spyker calls about the class, consider it completely legit.

His secretary is on maternity leave, so it may take a few weeks to get everything scheduled.

Questions on the initial inquiry test you will need to brush up on;

- How many scoring wrestlers are required to win a Natty?
- Who has changed their handles more times? JTS on the HR or Bushwood on BWI.
- Does Cael indeed have a plan with the lineup?
- Trick question that gets people all the time....When is the schedule released and why dont we see a bobble head give away on it.
- Has nico actually beaten anyone in the room?
- Was morgan Mac really home sick?
- Why doesnt Cael get all the big time recruits?
- How do I get more than 1 trophy point on this site?
- Just who is the guy from Boalsburg on the weekly call in show live from Pirmanti Brothers formerly the G-Man on heister street?
- Where is the best place to get a hair cut and shave?
- Who arrived at the mat first Carton or Pletcher and which mat was it?

and finally you will need to pick a side

A) Willie or B) FLo

Hope this helps and you'll soon be on your way to hilarity and big time likes.

One thing that bodes well for Kemerer is that he's an elite finisher. If he gets to a leg, he's almost automatic. Starocci has been great at defending with guys on his legs, but Kemerer will be the best finisher he's seen by far.

It’s been a while, but I seem to recall quite a few stalemates in his matches against Nolf. I know Jason initiated some, but not all. I have to favor Kemerer this year, but I think CStar has a narrow path to win when it counts.

That's why I said *almost* automatic lol. Nolf had his number, but he even finished on Hall with pretty good efficiency.

The match vs Kemerer, if it happens this year, are the matches wrestlers come to Penn State to wrestle. Can't remember where I heard it ;) , but someone once said, "You come to Penn state, you win big matches...", though in this case I'd say 'to wrestle big matches'.

I would give Kemerer the edge, in fact a solid edge this year. Cael teaches to embrace the moment, have fun out there, let the training take over, don't be afraid to make a mistake, and the like. So I don't expect Starocci to do anything but wrestle his match. No shame in giving your all and letting the chips fall where they may.
