Have fun following these future PSUers.

For Schnupp: South Central PA is a district and a regional. He wont wrestle this weekend and is already in the state tourny for next week.

For live stream of Nevills bros (copied from ca forum)...

Yes its FREE. You do not need to be a Time Warner subscriber. We are streaming all matches both days this year. Several ways to get there. Can follow on TrackWrestling or Time Warner -http://www.twcsportschannel.com
or
www.globalmatsports.com (we made this link as it seems easiest to get to the links. Time Warner and Track seem to take you through a few extra steps and people tend to get lost). Updates will be live on Track Wrestling. Session start at 9a PT Friday and should be live a little before then.

NE AA Regionals will be live streamed in their entirety here: http://www.bentontigerswrestling.com/

Free, but donations will be appreciated -- it's a small volunteer operation.

They will stream all 3 mats, with audio on only one mat. You may have to use the chat to determine mat assignments.

Action begins at 6 pm ET tonight. The 113-lb quarters of interest will begin shortly thereafter. (The rest of the schedule is on the website linked above.) It's a strong regional that produces quite a bit of D1 talent.

Oh right, I forgot that South Central operates differently than the rest of the Commonwealth. Thanks. I'll remove him from the OP, as he's not wrestling this weekend.

Friery WBF 1:06. Next up: semis vs. D2 champ Colin Pasone (W-B Meyers), brother of Appalachian State 133 Vito. This should be a good matchup.

NE Regional qualifies 4, so the winner automatically qualifies for states, and the loser qualifies by winning his first consi match.

Live brackets on FloArena.

Mason Lindenmuth with a TF in the quarters at 3:22 over Hunter Goodlin (Jamestown; D10, 3rd).

He'll face Cole Mathews (Reynolds) in the semis

Suriano update:

Prequarterfinals: Pin at 1:44 over Dylan Fischer (West Deptford)

Quarters: will face Travis Layton (Woodstown)

Luke Gardner of Pottsville with a 17-2 TF over O'Rourke of Roman Catholic, will see Manley of Tunkhanock in next rd.

And while not a verbal to PSU, there is Spencer Lee. He's in the Class AAA Southwest Regionals, 120.

R1: Pin at 3:08 over Dylan Winters (Shaler)
Quarters: Pin at 0:45 over Ben Lynch (Seneca Valley)
Semis: he'll face Noah Levett (Kiski Area)

AJ Nevills' quarterfinal match is scheduled for tonight (Fri. night). It's questionable that I'll still be awake by the time the match takes place.

Ed, was the stream crappy for you too, or does my internet suck?

It was very crappy, it lagged a lot. It was really difficult to find the correct mats, with the way the video was freezing. I lucked out and was able to watch most of both matches. I'll not complain though, I thought it was pretty cool to be able to see it, here in PA, for free no less!

Friery lost to Pasone 8-1 in the NE AA semis. Still qualifies for states by winning his first consolations match.

Friery won 5-1 in consi semis, moves on to the 3rd/4th match and clinches a trip to Hershey.

Updates on AJ Nevills:

Quarters: 12-1 Major over Anthony Spallino (Windsor)

Semis: Pin at 2:36 over Danny Salas, Jr (St John Bosco)

Finals: will face Chris Bailey (Poway)

More on Spencer Lee:

Semis: Pin in 1:31 over Noah Levett (Kiski Area)

Finals: He'll face Hunter Baxter (Pine-Richland) in the finals

Update on Mason Lindenmuth

Semis: was pinned by Cole Mathews (Reynolds) at 0:57

Consolation Semis: 7-1 decision over Garrett Kopp (North East)

Consolation Finals: will face Hunter Goodline (Jamestown), who he TFed in the Championship bracket quarters, for 3rd place

Updated on Luke Gardner:

R1: Had a 17-2 TF at 3:35 over John O'Rourke (Roman Catholic; D12, 4th)

Quarters: 10-5 decision over Bill Manley (Tunkhannock; D2, 1st)

Semis: will take on Ronald Palmer (Mariana Bracetti Academy; D12, 1st)

Updates on AJ Nevills:

Semis: Pin at 2:36 over Danny Salas, Jr (St John Bosco)

Finals: will face Chris Bailey (Poway)
As an aside, went to college with a guy who went to Poway high in Ca. Supermodel Stephanie Seymour was in high school there when he was. He said her mom was even hotter than she was. Not sure that's possible.

Anyway, carry on

Update on Brian Friery (to expand on what El-Jefe posted):

Semis: Lost 8-1 to Colin Pasone (Wilkes-Barre Meyers; D2, 1st)

Consolation Semis: 5-1 decision over Lucas Drick (Montgomery; D4, 5th)

Consolation Finals: 6-3 decision over Trey Heiss (Warrior Run; D4, 4th) to finish 3rd

More on Suriano:

In the Semis, he had a 19-4 TF at 6:00 over Troy Stanich (Roxbury)

His last HS match will be the Finals, where he'll take on Ty Agaisse (Delbarton), as he tries to become a 4X NJ State Champ

Flags all over. A pic of Mom would negate the penalty.

Last Spencer Lee update of the weekend:

Finals: A 17-2 TF at 4:23 over Hunter Baxter (Pine-Richland)

The time off for the surgery and rehab does not seem to have had any negative impact on his wrestling.

At this point, I believe I've updated each of the PSU verbals in state playoff action this weekend.

The only result that is not yet determined is how Nick Suriano will place. The NJ finals take place at 3 pm on Sunday. He'll take on Ty Agaisse, who he defeated 5-2 last year in the NJ State Finals at 120. (He also defeated him 9-2 earlier this year, at the North Jersey Non-Public tournament.)
