Yes I know another Suriano thread (I’m tired of them too, but this will be front and center soon). Below is an intro to his video coming up. I hope it doesn’t become a crap all over PSU piece.

In this little intro he already states Cael did everything to not make it happen. This looks like it’s going be ugly. Hopefully not.

Will Penn State recruiting be dealt a fatal blow when Fearless Warrior tells a little of what happened?

To summarize, it was all Penn State's fault.

Yeah..I don't get it at all. If PSU only thought about winning, they would have put him on the mat regardless of how bad his ankle was. They didn't to protect the kids health and in Suriano's mind he was "robbed." Ridiculous

Yeah..Cael should be happy that a kid he spent time, resources, money wants to leave and is mad because they fought to keep him? Very very strange..

Very strang indeed. There is sumtin wong with Nick Suriano and especially his dad.

Let's face it Nick, Penn State would have been better off if you had never set foot on campus. That is a fact that cannot be argued. The fact that Cael may have been upset that he lost a 125 lb. potential AA that he thought that he would have for three more years is understandable.

Win a title (NCAA or Big Ten) then have a video. You have moved on right?

Egomaniac comes to mind when watching this - videos about him; everybody talking about him; the center of attention.

Interested if FLO attempted to get the other side of the story?

Straight from his own mouth from an interview last year:

1. He stated that he was not 100% until June
2. He stated that he did not wrestle again until May

Still trying to figure out how he expected to be able to wrestle on a broken ankle 3.5 weeks later, very complicated load bearing joint. A broken bone in the arm takes 3 weeks to heal.

Nick, some advice, let it go. Sh*t happens in life, get over it.

Cael would refuse to comment. Commenting about a former wrestler now at a rival program is in poor taste, plus Cael has too much class to comment.

FLO may want to delay release of this video until they at least know whether Fearless Warrior is going to show up at NCAAs (literally and figuratively). His absence and/or underperformance could undercut the narrative.

Who cares how he tries to paint the picture about what happened. Didn't PSU grant him a release that allowed him to wrestle this year? I'm pretty sure Cael and Co. moved on. The haters will still hate all things Cael regardless of what really happened.

well, Cael kept saying he was drilling, close to ready, etc. so maybe he believed Cael?

Wonder who came up with Fearless Warrior? Gonna be stuck with that forever

Maybe Flo's next documentary can be on a more relevant team like Northwestern.

With one immature line, he makes a confirmed non-supporter out of me. I sure as hell don't want to be in the position of having to see a Tomasello vs. Suriano match.

"Let's face it, Penn State, they tried everything they could to not make it happen. That's a fact."

In related news, the burglary suspect said to ABC5: "Let's face it, the homeowners, they tried everything they could to prevent me from robbing them blind. That's a fact."

After spending the Midlands with Suarino's dad and Vodka compliance officer why don't you enlighten us.

I'm kind of glad this happened. There's been a good amount of "I'm always gonna root for him still" love shown for Suriano on this forum that I have never understood. He isn't just now turning his back on Penn State, he did it the instant he looked into leaving.

Cael granted him a release but 'tried everything he could to not make it happen"?? I hope Flo revisits him in 2 years and asks how that Rutgers thing worked out.
Well, I wrestled and won many matches. It would have been nice to win something other than the Midlands.

Let's be real, Nick Suriano wasn't ok with being the 6th best wrestler on any team. He went to a program that would never bring in someone as "good" as him to ensure he was the center of attention. Let's call a spade a spade and move on. He is where he belongs and will reap the 'benefits' of wrestling in America's armpit.

This made me laugh out loud. Can you imagine any viable PSU recruit taking Suriano’s word after spending 5 minutes with Cael or any of the PSU wrestlers. Ha! FLO’s Suriano “expose” will have about as much impact on PSU recruiting as Lee Harvey Oswald trash talking the U.S. Marines hurt military recruiting. That’s quality humor there, jammenz. Thx. I was due for a full fledged belly laugh. :D

...this young man seems very adult in his commitment to his wrestling - almost obsessing over it - but very immature in his social skills - in particular not accepting the consequences of his actions but blaming everyone else for his own failures...
...I really feel sorry for him... he seems like a very lonely kid...

Sowhen he does not win this year...who's fault will it be?

he wanted to leave--of course Cael was going to try to keep him.
again how was he robbed? he stated at the beginning of last season that we couldn't wrestle until May....

To think this &$#@ likely cost us Spencer Lee. If not Spencer then someone else at another weight like 133. Cael gave up part if the 9.9 for him and became an integral peice of a multi year plan that he shredded with his antics.

The only value he has to me is in beating Nato in the Semis and then losing to Spencer this year. Now it turns out he might miss this year's tourney as well, screwing is yet again by giving Nato/tOSU an easier path to a NC and the points that go with it. So much for his destiny.

I no longer want to see him as a NC and hope the next 2-3 years he takes turns getting his head handed to him by both Spencer and Fix. The Rutgers room won't do much to avoid that scenario.

For all home matches I say the full PSU crowd not booo or toss tomatoes. We should all stand and simply silently turn our backs, and not even watch his putrid feet soiling our hallowed ground.

Then again if Teasdale happens to catch him, by all means scream our heads of :)

Nick did not cost Penn State Spencer.
