TCU - K State

I mentioned OSU because they are also behind TCU and have no basis to be ahead of TCU, even if OSU has 1 loss or 2 losses.

Again, I don't give a shit about who is "favored", that isn't objective evidence. You have offered no objective evidence other than Bama beating two 4 loss teams. Psu's resume is nearly identical, beating Purdue a 4 loss team on the road, who is in the B10 championship game.

There is no objective evidence to justify Bama ahead of TCU at 12-1, who is ranked 2 spots higher and Bama is idle.
Your first statement is utterly false. TCU didn't play Michigan or they'd have a loss
Penn State has how many wins over teams currently ranked? Purdue's in a title game simply because someone in that horrible division has to be
Alabama lost to 2 elite teams on the road in the final seconds with 2 ranked wins in the toughest conference (RPI) while TCU will have lost a pseudo home game (18 miles from campus) to a top 10 team in one of the weakest conferences. Their best win other than the team that just beat them is a team Alabama also beat.
Eye test and all that stuff matter. You don't have to like it but this isn't "who has the best record"--it's who has the best resume

Just curious how you feel about USC and Utah now. USC with better wins, but Utah owns them 2-0 this season.

And overtime!
USC will be ranked ahead of them. USC probably 6 or 7. Curious to see if Utah jumps us though. They shouldn't but...

Look at all these teams playing in their conference championship game with three losses….that’s never going to happen for Penn State….so yeah, divisions and conferences matter.

What an effort by that TCU QB. That drive cements them in playoffs

Agreed. Great drive. Great 4th quarter. Great performance by that QB.

I think TCU was in the playoff regardless, but now there is zero chance of Alabama getting the nod ahead of them -- regardless of which team comes out of this OT with the W.

That said, you gotta love how Kansas State played too. Didn't back down an inch. I really think the muffed punt which TCU converted for 7 points might have saved the Frogs. They were on their heels at that point.

I think those saying TCU are definitely in if they lose this underestimate what the committee thinks of the SEC and Bama.

My gosh, why hand the ball off deep in the backfield there rather than just have the QB sneak it for a couple feet.

No we know that no team with two losses ever got in before and won’t now. There only shot was a blowout
Guess we'll see if K-State doesn't blow this
They left it in the hands of the committee so it comes down to
Do they want SEC vs. SEC and B10 vs, B10
Or do they keep TCU at 3

If TCU gets in and gets blown out I assure you next year no one from the Big XII or ACC get in unless they're undefeated.

Lando, you're trying to gin up some intrigue that doesn't exist. TCU is in. You can quote me on that.

An ot loss in your 13th game to the 10th ranked team isn’t dropping you behind a two loss team.

Herbie just said the same thing.
What did Herbie say at the end? THis isn't a question--he solidified it that it was just his opinion
You're all missing the point here. It's up to the committee.
It can go either way. I wouldn't be shocked if TCU is 3 or if they 5 tomorrow.

He said the loss may change their ranking, but it won’t push them out of the playoffs.

No, but I'm telling you what's going to happen.
You don't know what's happening. You're assuming.
TCU might stay at 3, they might drop to 4 or they could fall to 5
Georgia Michigan and Ohio State are 100% in
TCU isn't. They're about 75% with Bama at 25%

ESPN playoff predictor has Alabama at 23% with the given outcomes so far...
TCU isn't a lock

Just turned on the game and there are no announcers. Crowd noise, refs mikes work, can hear Pa announcers….but no TV play by play. Very strange and sure it is not intentional for a CCG. Been that way for ten minutes or so.
Ok, now this is crazy. Network just switched games to the UCF Tulane game……and still no announcers.
Othe r games are working fine so it’s not set. Weird stuff.

Said the same thing. Bad play call there.
The only rationale for the run was that they appeared to target the spot where #99 from KSU left injured. That 33 had been a truck all day.

TCU will forever flinch when they see that play, especially if they miss the playoff. We have our own version that haunts us...Sugar/Bama/Marty F-ing Lyons.

The correct team won. KSU earned it.

No, Lando, I do not assume...I know.

I mean, have I ever been wrong here...at least in the last 12 hours...

Unless one thinks a three loss team shouldn’t be in a conference championship game.

No they don’t. They were 4th in conference. They are lucky to be in ny6
You keep saying 4th in their conference but that's not even a thing. They finished 2nd in the SEC West with two last second losses on the road against top 10 teams. The SEC will be pushing very, very hard to get them into the playoff.

Ask yourself this...are Sonny Dykes, his team and their fan base sleeping comfortably tonight 100% sure they're in?

The only slight chance for Bama to make it was a complete and utter blow out of TCU. An OT loss is not that. The CFP teams are set as UGA, UM, tOSU and TCU. TCU will likely be third just to avoid the UM/tOSU rematch (or they put UM 1 and TCU 4).

That are 4th in the conference overall when you rank them all. TCU only loss is a 13 th game ot loss to 10th team. Bama has no chance
