Temple Game Thread

What's with these slow-motion developing pass plays?? Especially against an obvious blitz? Where are the quick hitters? Where is the outlet pass?

Keep in mind guys...Temple does have a good D. Not an excuse for individual failures, but overall it's not a bad game if we don't blow them out.

Temple is basically blitzing on every play and we're still calling passing plays that are taking too long to develop. There has been fair production from the ground game and need to get back to that. This 2nd and 3rd and long is like pissing in the wind

You cannot completely fault the offensive line on that last sack. Lynch released from the backfield on a wheel route and the ball has to be put in his hands after a three-step drop. TU brought pressure and the offensive line accounted for it, at least for the most part, but when Lynch released there was no one there to pick up the edge rusher. Blame can be shared there - offensive line, Hackenberg, and Lynch.

O coaching bad.

Herb Hand blows chuniks. Absolutely no excuse for this pathetic display.

A lot like last year when everyone was wondering why there weren't some short routes or quick slants to keep the D honest and decrease the pressure on the qb. Burn Temple on these blitzes and they'll back off. Continue to sit back there as a target waiting for deep routes and Hack will get crushed.

You're dealing with idiots that don't understand that the OL is not responsible for the Offense failing to adjust to clear blitz lineups and blocking everybody when Temple is consistently bringing more rushers than blockers (especially when PSU is sending TEs and RBs).

I blame the play calls.
