Tenn won't hire Schiano

At least for a big time NCAA gig... he could get a Head Coaching job at a smaller program or back to NFL.. what a shame.

Wonder what Schiano would say to Mike M if he saw him at a bar...
He’s despised by all in the NFL. Rutgers might take him back though.

Jim Bob Cooter deserves a HC job at some level.
Dave Clawson or Tee Martin is who I'd bet on his teme but I thougth the Schiano rumors were a joke so....
Clawson was the OC there for one year when Fulmer got canned. Didn't do well. Been a good coach since but I doubt they would hire him.

LMFAO!! Is that the best you can do, failurshka?
I’m sorry I’m not putting forth much effort in engaging you. I mean, your opinion of Sandy has proven to be garbage, so I think my post came across as intended. But I get it, you see me post something and you feel compelled to be an ass. Good for you.

I was really disappointed to see Clay Travis lead the effort to slander Schiano, and by proxy also slander Joe Paterno. On his radio show, Clay always talks about how we shouldn't immediately believe accusations without looking at facts, but just because they fit our worldview. He has also criticize virtue signaling on social media. However, in the case, he jumped to believe accusations that were clearly BS just because he didn't like Schiano as a football coach, and he encouraged UT fans to virtue signal by pretending they were morally appalled by Schiano.

Imagine that, someone in the "media" (I use that term loosely) who shapes a narrative to fit their agenda. I'm SHOCKED.

Your opinion of my opinion, of any opinion for that matter, is worthless.

BTW, we also know that you only put in "effort" on this board when it's on Penn State's dime.

It’s not really an opinion when you look at results and see PSU athletics chugging along as one of the elite outfits in the nation. But a bum like you just wants to complain for the sake of complaining. Whining over nothing is definitely your favorite thing to do.

Feel bad for Schiano. Anybody that can produce a degree of success in the armpit of college football is deserving of an opportunity. Rutgers has been a disaster since he left.

Yeah, it's all because of her.

It has been established that I am getting paid by the BOT to trash Paterno.

Lot of truth there that since you spend more time doing that than the responsibilities outlined in your job description.

I can't believe this actually happened. Well, I can....but continue to be amazed by the stupidity of humanity.

The internet has been society's greatest blessing and biggest curse. It's basically turned into a real life "Gossip Girl."

One thing that must be noted, I must add, is Schiano needs to speak out on this and say something. If he doesn't, something is weird.

I suspect Schiano is consulting with legal counsel on the next steps and will not speak publicly until said legal counsel gives him the go-ahead. There has been some talk of tennessee owing him a big chunk of change for breaking things off (signed MOU). If so, then I'm sure Schiano will sit silent in the background while his lawyers do their job on the financial front.

Agreed. He gave a statement last year to Adam Schecter but it was pretty brief. Also would be nice to hear from Bradley...since Mike alleges he was the one that told him about Greg.

I suspect that as part of negotiations to settle the MOU, Schiano was told to keep quiet. Basically, keep your mouth shut and you’ll get paid.

Where does this put Greg for other opportunities then? If one fanbase can be this crazy, another one can also.

Sad commentary on today's society.

But, Junior and Lerlene are pretty happy.

I can imagine he might get a payment of $500,000 to $1,000,000 just so he doesn’t go after Tennessee for some sort of breach of contract, even if all they had in place was an MOU.
