I didn’t scroll through the whole game thread so apologies if this was discussed elsewhere. But the operations at Hard Rock Stadium were awful last night. The clock operator was asleep at the wheel. The down, distance, and spot of the ball were consistently incorrect. The announcer’s down and distance never matched the scoreboard. It was amateur hour.

Couldn’t agree more. I’d also add that the overall logistics at that stadium sucked as it related to men’s restrooms accommodation

Yes the yellow lot I parked in appeared to have one porta potty in each corner of the parking lot. Most folks (including a group of women I saw working together to block line of sight) went to the bathroom in the grass field next to the lot.

But traffic did move at a decent pace when leaving which was a pleasant surprise.

The rideshare lot was literally a 45 minute walk in the dark from the stadium. Most infuriating setup I’ve ever seen.

When it first opened the stadium was beautiful. The new roof is a nice touch especially for Sunday Dolphins games but after 40 years it is definitely showing its age.

That alone was enough that I would only ever attend a National Championship Game at that venue. $34 for a burger, fries, and water.

They had concerts, drink and merch kiosks, tailgating, and tons of people and not a port a potty in sight. It was amazing.

Also they tried cramming too many activities during the breaks in the action. At one point the PSU band/cheerleaders were taking their turn at the same time the orange bowl was attempting to honor a cancer survivor. It was wildly awkward.
