That other QB recruit, Beau Pribula

And without watching any of the two QB’s high school films, I suspect both play in offenses that are so much more QB friendly and creative regarding play calling and play design than what they will be walking into at PSU.

Not to mention the QB is throwing against many players who will NOT advance past the HS football level.

Pribula had another good game on Friday nite. He completed 90 percent of his passes for 188 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for another touchdown.

Check out his athleticism in this latest Hudl video. The kid can pass for sure, but his running, elusiveness, and strength are outstanding.

On a cold and rainy night Pribula led his team against a 7-1 William Penn York team.

He led them to a 27-6 lead in the 1st quarter.the score at half.

The score at the half was 45-6. Pribula had 3 rushing tds and 3 passing tds, at the half. So much for bad playing conditions.

A win takes his team to 10-0 and a District 3 6A #1 seed.

Note- The final score was 60-14, a crushing win over a good team.

They have sent a couple coaches to watch Allar in one of his games. OSU is interested because Ewers showed up earlier than expected. Hooefully he stays with his PSU commit.
It's more about NOT letting Allar come to psu where he can beat them (esp use the osu didn't want me so i'm gonna kick their ass mantra), but to take him to osu where he MIGHT play. If not, they have very capable backup NOT playing against them. It's more strategy than anything else.

IMO, of course.

Nice report on the Central York victory, noting Pribula’s play.

we are fortunate to have two excellent commitments at quarterback.

Pribula runs a 4.5 and is a very good runner. Strong, quick and fast. Throws well on the run or scrambling.

By all accounts his arm is strong and getting stronger. Quick release. Extremely accurate, throwing 78% with 30 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards. A good sample size.

With the playoffs starting we will see if he can repeat as PA 6A Player of the Year and get his team to the championship game once again.

A nice hi lite clip of the Central York game showing some nice passes and runs by Pribula and an 80 yard td by Yorks star running back Jaheim White. All in a pouring rain.

Central York won its third straight York-Adams League title in a 60-14 win over York High behind six touchdowns from senior quarterback Beau Pribula.
