Well, he is a Hollywood actor. You can't be a member of the Club unless you're a Democrat and participate in liberal group circle jerks. As a reminder, Clint is a Democrat.

I also find it so interesting to go down historical rabbit holes from bread crumbs (like this) in movies. The information highway makes it available right at our fingertips with just few key strokes. A-maze-thing!In one scene they show the Confederate Army retreating through town led by a Gen Sibley. Turns out there actually was a Gen Sibley in the Confederate Army. And he invented the Sibley tent, used by the Army for years.
Buster Keaton inspired...Here is a wiki on the film. Lots of cool info. Was filmed mostly in Spain. Blowing up the bridge had to be filmed twice…..the first time they blew up all three cameras!

Wish I stayed awake in Th 101!Neato...when you dig (pun intended) into these type of details in a movie it's adds a whole new level of meaning to a film and what all else is being attempted to be conveyed.
(Now, many years later I wish I paid more attention in THEA 101.)
Wish I stayed awake in Th 101!
In the scene that Blondie shoots the rope noose and Tucou rides off on the horse….. the horse was so spooked by the shooting it ran for a full mile with Eli Wallach on it with his hands tied! Amazing he stayed on the horse the whole timeEli wallach played the heavy in the magnificent seven
Yes it was and he was not all that bad he not only killed the husband and older son but took all their money then he gives the guy who hired him a feather pillow dust off lolThat movie was huge for Lee Van Cleef’s career.
All goodFavorite Eastwood movie. Second the outlaw Josie wales. Third the unforgivinen
Always enjoyed how musicians cnan reinterpret different songs to their on style.
Where Eagles Dare was a great movie. " broad sword calling Danny boy"All good
Really odd Democrat. Clint gave a major speech at the 2012 Republican Convention. He did a great job castigating Big Ears Barry. As a reminder, Clint is a Democrat.
To great laughter and applause….“Biden is the intellect of the Democrat Party”
Saw the movie for the first time and remember thinking that was the first time a music score perfectly fit the action of the film and made it so much more memorable.Really cool…..director had them make a cemetery in a bowl shaped hillside to resemble a Roman circus. Then told the music/score writer to write music that would sound like all the souls of the dead screaming out while Tucou ran around. The final scene was meant to resemble a visual ballet with all the swirling shots mixed with closeups of the the characters.
But most of the one's you believe are alive are actually dead. All great men that are alive today are Democrats.
where do you rate "The Bridges of Madison County?"My third would be "Kelly's Heroes." Woof, woof!
