What game are you watching ???This is a coaching mismatch, not a player mismatch.
Yeah the last 15 years under Joe are so great.
And if we throw it and it’s incomplete everyone is bitching that we stopped the clock and left them with a time out.
You are clueless.
They only call holding adjacent to where the ball carrier is. Unless the hold clearly allows a runner to slip by, it’s not called in the B1G.Parsons was held forever and no flag.
tOSU defense is just better than the PSU offense. They are not the #1 defensive team for nothing. PSU just can't block them so far. Better players on tOSU side of the ball. PSU might be able to scheme a little better. It wouldn't matter much though. Superior talent on the other side of the ball. PSU does not, even with the recruiting improvement, recruit at that level. We’re bitching about holding when our offense has 65 yards. We’ve done absolutely nothing to try and get the ball to hamler or our backs in space (minus the 3rd and 4 incomplete pass to Cain).
Middle of the field was wide open with all out blitz. Fortunately we got to Fields quickly.Sac on fields at the 50-yard line with 30 seconds left
Offense cannot score or move the ball. Clifford knows he doesn’t have time and is unloading early.
What game are you watching ???
I would suggest you watch old tapes instead of the current team. You will be happier and so will weI would take those 15 years over this crap.
Exactly, on that bomb to the EZ at the end of the half Parsons was clearly held right out in the open and no call.Honest question: why are obvious holds never called?

Was going to say the same thing. I happen to like UM and he’s spot on. Our defense is balling, the difference is at the QB spotUrban called it at half. D is playing tough but getting no help from the O. O needs a sustained drive, score and give the D a rest.
You can’t be serious...Levis is in no way ready to play in any competitive game - let alone this game...OSU is very, very good and it is senior day on their home field. Going to need everything have just to stay in the game...Nope, Cliff needs the practice!
amen I have never complained before but this is getting ridiculous. On the second td they got away with a hook and hold. And what about the hold against Parsons. He was rode out of the play.Just sick of this bull.Honest question: why are obvious holds never called?
It wasn't pretty, but Joe's teams always had good offensive line play and were able to grind out yards on the ground and use up clock.I would take those 15 years over this crap.

This half is why it is so impossible to take the people who blame everything on coaching seriously. It is pretty clear they have no idea what they are watching. The difference in this game is Fields’ ability to run and the O$U receiver’s ability to go up and make plays. Period. Outside of maybe spying a player instead of using a delayed blitz on a play or two our coaching staff has put these kids in a position to win. O$U has a better DL, secondary, OL, WRs and RBs than us. They SHOULD win based purely on talent. It’s why the NCAA and their utter lack of integrity is so maddening. Fields should not be on this field. Neither should Chase Young. Take off those two players and Franklin has done a phenomenal job stocking this team with the talent to compete with anyone.
The D is fighting hard. I applaud the effort but not the scheme. Fields had too many big runs on 3rd down when we had no defenders to stop him. Common sense dictates that you kick the FG on 4th and 5 but they didn't hesitate because they were able to predict what we were going to do on D.Urban called it at half. D is playing tough but getting no help from the O. O needs a sustained drive, score and give the D a rest.
you have to be jokingI would take those 15 years over this crap.
Minnesota's perseverance in a previous game with PSU is irrelevant with respect to the likelihood of a PSU victory in this game. PSU will persevere. PSU always plays hard. Effort is not the issue. Nevertheless, chances are that perseverance won't win this game against tOSU. There is still hope. PSU is only down 2 TDs. It's clear which team is better so far though.penn state had superior talent to Minnesota yet the gophers perservered.
Excuse me? Did I say Levis needs to play? NO! How do you expect Cliff to get any better sitting on the bench? Defense playing well, offense is not. Kicking game also disappointing so far.
